I am one of the best in my grade regarding english.
Still i dont feel like your english skill would fit. Sorry for that, but you should stay realistic

Being one of the best isn't always great, depending on how good the others are.

... to be a little philosophic for once. :P

Nah, back to being serious: I think Danny and AV are right, your English skills aren't bad by any means, but yet I feel like they wouldn't be sufficient to fulfill the requirements. So I'd say if you want to do either podcaster or translator, try to go for the podcaster, there aren't that many of them which are actually active.

I remember you telling me "I didn't saw this.", and that's why I told you. Not because of it, but because I told you that it's wrong and your answer was "it's right lol". (dat inglis tho)

Mostly it depends on the time, how my english is :D
If I'm tired you can totally forget it to speak with me in a proper english.

Is the level of english in Germans school high ? And is it just for the students who decide to follow it or is it a standard course.

You have english from the first class until you leave the school.

I think the level of english in elitepvpers, especially here in this thread, is higher than in my school.

Usually it's mandatory for everyone until class 10, after that you either graduate from secondary school. English in high school differs from state to state, here you can choose between french and english, 4 hours a week.

Actually the level isn't that high, we were told our level would be B2/C1 after graduation but that's not the case.

Örgs, exams next week. Double integrals and Fourier transforms, shit. :(
I want to get a little bit more into gaming again after that, is there anything you can recommend? Sadly Watch Dogs was delayed. Battlefield 4 is waiting for me and I'm thinking about buying Kerbal Space Program, any opinions on that? :)

I don't know for how many months I've been waiting for this game Q.Q
But well, its okay if they are working even harder on it. (even though it already looked awesome at the last E3)

Nah but the things we see is alot more difficult as last year, where I got like 80% on my exam.
German sense of humour is heavily underestimated. Many of us have pretty well developed sarcasm ...

Tbh, I wouldn't have to high expectations. I've been there and I know what levels JD is looking for and I am afraid you got some work to do to be there, too.

Simply like: "Hey, we're looking for translators, you applied a while ago and we'd like to know if you're still interested." :\
As far as I was able to follow it, you had Xeemy's and mine approval, yet if I remember right, you abandoned your applications for some time regarding fresh samples and I simply thought you where too busy, so I didn't really pull any strings I might have pulled else.

Well talking about high schools, you can expect them to be able to follow medium level conversations, understand implied meanings and talk quite freely, although with the heavy German accent we all love.
Not everyone is willing to spent so much time on English, though. Most of my fellow students wouldn't last a day in UK or the US. Even now at uni, many still have quit poor developed language skills ...

Here in our country we practice English early in Primary Schools.

So the right thing to do now is posting samples on a regular basis to show activity?
