This file includes the Baskets for the Achievement Lambo, the Black Terlingua I added to the dealer and the Lotus Elise Limited Edition fixed basket

@Benno4 that list was most helpful! Made finding the car so much easier, or at least to know what the car is in the cat file when editing. I had to look up some but most part your list made it much simpler!

Also, I have to say that I like the prices you chose. It makes all the cars more accessible (Plus in the next update we will have properly priced cars for the entire community which is exciting). The idea behind the prices I set for myself was to give unique and highly sought after cars a higher price in order to give them more value. Your prices gave me some perspective on my own. Nice work!

When I do a spread sheet I will use what you have and expand to add all the details of each car for easy reference for any future work others may want to do. Will be a very good start to work with. You spent a lot of time I am sure because I started to do that and said, it will take to long to get the dealer pricing done so I just went with the cat and doing a complete inventory of the dealer with all the specs so I new what car had what with it to give a better price range.. now with your list and the inventory I should be able to build a really nice spread sheet or excel sheet and I will include basket hash and catalog hash so will be easy to navigate and do what we want and need. :handsdown:

EDIT: Also, I would like to continue pricing and add new prices for performance parts, aftermarket parts, skill mods etc. I want to eliminate SpeedBoost in my own game. The games not online anymore and not dependant on SpeedBoost so I would like to remove it as much as I can. I'd also like to know how to change the sell price of things too. I want to learn as much about modifying the game as possible.

So what i'm saying is, if you or anybody knows how to do that, please let me know :)

To check basket files
Yes buy a car and enter freeroam or put performance parts greater and if it changes in freeroam or the overall goes into the negative then that cars basket is bugged

For the other things
as for the other items most we cant adjust except the catalog files the resell on cars is changed in the basket files for each car the other items we do not have access to except the catalog or shop items in game.

To adjust these item prices in the catalog file associate with the stuff you want to alter price, like the performance parts is productsInCategory_NFSW_NA_EP_PERFORMANCEPARTS.xml and so on. We just do not have the basket files for these items to change resell...

Ok, well I'll buy each car and then go to freeroam. I won't worry about the performance part thing for now. It will take me some time as you can imagine but i'll do my best. I'll edit this post when I have something for you.

EDIT:

All E class cars appear to be fine when entering freeroam
All D class cars appear to be fine when entering freeroam
All C class cars appear to be fine when entering freeroam
All B class cars appear to be fine when entering freeroam
All A class cars appear to be fine when entering freeroam
All S class cars appear to be fine when entering freeroam

Conclusion: As you can probably tell, I did not find a single bug when entering freeroam with any car.


All E class cars appear to be fine when applying performance parts (I will continue this if you need me to, but i'm not doing this at the moment incase I didn't have to after all)

The Bugatti Veyron changed colour from blue to grey upon purchase

I don't know if this is a bug or something, but when trying to sell these cars, it catagorises them as Class A when they are Class D and B. I'm using a fresh 1.8.3 hotfix 3 server so the Elise is still bugged [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

I know, there are 370 I think so it will take a great amount of time, I bought every car in another server and started doing that got about 100 in and there are just so many. I now buy and add performance parts if it goes negative I know that basket needs adjustment and I keep playing, as I find them I write the car, model and such then fix the basket. once I get some fixed I will make an upload.

It will take time there are a lot of cars to check. So have some fun while doing it as well. :)

Not sure why that is doing that I set up a new server myself to test the dealer.

All cars are showing in there class categories when I sell them. Not sure why that is happening.

The Elise is working for me. In all servers. hmm

The first upload I only had the 2 basket files for the Lambo and Terlingua I edited a few prices then re-uploaded a new cat file and included the Elise basket fix. You have all 3 basket files? 376. 400 and 289 -(Lotus) with the download? :) Not sure why then if you do..

If you do edit on basket 289 see if this is <PhysicsProfileHash>826100022</PhysicsProfileHash> is the hash number to fix it... if the same then not sure why it is still bugged,

If you went into freeroam with every car and none changed to another car then likely no more basket bugs...

I did the checks without your new basket files. I already knew that the Elise would be bugged and that you had already fixed it so I didn't worry about it. I just made a note of it.


I checked every car and had no problems when entering freeroam. Does that mean that there's no more bugged cars currently in game or do you have to try and add parts to them to find out?

If no car changed to another car in freeroam then we shouldn't have any more basket bugs. They should have proper hash numbers then. When you tried the Elise, did you go to freeroam with it and it changed?

Nope, it stayed the same. Went to the performance shop just to see if it would decrease in performance from adding a part and it did. But that's all fixed now.

Well, all the cars are working the way they should. Let me know if I can assist you with anything else :)

EDIT: It doesn't affect gameplay at all but the only "bug" I noticed was the Bugatti changing colour upon purchase.

The Bugatti has done this since it was added, a small thing really, unless you can't open the paint shop :D like me.

So the Elise stayed the same in freeroam but the OA changed when adding perf parts, so there may be a rare instance baskets have a proper hash in but not a correct hash. Hmm well as we find cars that the OA change we will fix them.

There shouldn't be very many if anymore at all, I think for the most part it will be the cars like Limited Edition, Exclusive and the Rental cars that were added to the dealer after the main game cars... that seems to be the cars that we have fixed so far the baskets for, outside of Cross ZO6 being that rare car but the car changed to the VW R32 when in freeroam... so far all the rare ones I tested were fine.

So far I have tested a lot of those cars I mentioned, so it will be (if any) one or 2 in that category that will be. I wouldn't worry to much about it. When they get found we can get them fixed. :)

How crazy is this, in this last server I setup last night I can open the paint shop. hmm so it is definitely something on my end with the other servers. I will have to try those now.

New test I am doing, as crazy as it may be, all the servers I changed the new dealer xml in, I can open the paint shop. Now I will try a fresh server without any file change, because I have not been able to use the paint shop in any server that I set up with hf3 ... test time. :)

Strangest thing, the paint shop is working now even with a new server. Hmmm. I am not complaining, I will enjoy it while it lasts. :D

I still say that reflecting the real life prices of the cars in adjusting the dealer would be awesome, hard work...but in the end awesome.
The thing is though, with resale value, that all depends on the used car salesman and how much he wants to rip people off.
Blue book value is worthless and never right, not even close.
Private owner to owner sales can vary too.

I conclude if we did have a dealer with prices to reflect real life values, their resale would almost have to be 35% less,or up to 50% which is about right.
Age does not matter as obviously, all cars run like brand new, regardless of the hard ass miles we put on them.

However, to google each car and come up with something to reflect real life would take weeks to do and I may just do that for the hell of it.

I noticed something else, in the basket files there are only the 4, truck, van, sedan and one other small car, so to use any of those unlocalized string cars wouldn't we need to create basket files for each of them wanting to use like we did for the Terlingua and Lambo Achievement?

Adjusting all those basket files for resell should be fun.

There are around 30 AI's and their basket files are worthless for anything else ATM.

If you happen on reg cars to add in, you just make a basket file one number higher in the list is all you do, by copying any other one or just making it in notepad++

I still admire everyone's ability to come together like this and help each other.
Berkay is the king of the party though, but yah we all stepped in and added what we could, that is mainly because the server files are mostly in formats we can read and sort of understand.

No I haven't I must have missed your post, I will look for it.

My TH stopped on day 2 and is obviously broken now :D I was spending a lot of time editing, looking for broken baskets and such.. but now I can return to playing. I could cheat to catch up lol
