FFXI Private Server FFAWESOME

wow so it isnt just me.. thats kind of relieving i suppose, although my problem is that i downloaded the updates via torrent and cant connect to POL to see if there are any missing files til friday due to the ffxi servers being shut down temporarily.

OK so despite no one responding to my chats on hamachi, i managed to get to the screen to press accept for Final Fantasy, it initalized connection then crapped out and kicked me off, so now that i know i can get that far, WHY are the servers still unable to connect?? i think if you guys are gonna attempt to make servers for people to play on then ACTUALLY RESPOND TO QUESTIONS. if you dont have time to then DONT MAKE PUBLIC SERVERS end of story. 2 days now and ive gotten one responce from FFAWESOME and Roche (thank you for actually responding, i really apppriciate it) this just seems way to time consuming and bothersome to try and get on the server with no help from admins of the server.

hey how did you set the @skill command to work? I tried on my server but i cant seem to figure it out

edit: also how did u do your army biscuit and primeval brew stuff?

Says Could not connect to engine. or initialize engine or whatever,
anyone else having trouble with this today?

any suggestions on how to fix this?

I know it's easier to be spoon-fed everything but try taking some self-initiative and a little bit of your own time and read through the main thread before you make a complaint like that. Or run your own local server.

i got hamachi to work again, now.... every network is FULL

I'm confused I downloaded the hamachi thing and when try to join your network nothing happens. Also how am I supposed to get the mXI.exe to work? It says I have to make a pXI account, but I don't know where to make one. :confused:

if you run pxi and you dont get an option to make an account. then try again later,
something is down or wrong on the other side, not yours.

make sure to run it as admin

Alright i'll keep trying, but the instructions aren't very good.:mad: If someone some send me batter detailed instructions that would be great.:)

Hi all, ive downloaded and updated pol and ff11 (and patch ff11 all the way) but after successfully starting the game one time, i am now no longer able to start the game using mxi or mxi windower. Now I get the accept failed 10093 problem in mxi, though i have updated pol and ffxi. Does anyone have any suggestion to what i could do to fix this problem and be able to play the game?

Ive fixed the problems, by re updating (i had added the patches in the wrong order [instal ffxi and patches 1st, then update ffxi and pol])
