[Release] MabiMessage

It only uploads the boss spawn times and the ip of the channel server your on, nothing else. If you don't believe me get a copy of wireshark or something and see.

Its on the agree page when you start the app. if we find a pattern to the boss spawns it will become part of the app, until then we collect when they spawn.

I cant get the download to work.

The problem is that the server is down, which mean that the program does not currently work.

We've changed the main exe to fix the poping up behind other windows problem, we've also fixed a bug with MabiMessage crashing on windows 2008. So if your using the old version it will ask you to redownload from the projectmayu forum.

I've downloaded all of the required software, but Mabi Message isn't working for me.
Even if I change the settings on the Settings Tab, I don't get anything except for

"Your computer time is out by (number) milliseconds, adjusting for difference"

I'm on Mabinogi at the same time, so i don't know what i'm doing wrong

I can only think of a few reasons why you wouldn't be getting any msg chat from Mabinogi. The first being incorrectly selected network, second winpcap not working either because when you installed it you changed the setting to make it start as a service and thou haven't started it before playing Mabi or it isn't working because of some bug in winpcap or some other error with winpcap (a reinstall might help but probably not).

Winpcap handles the getting of all the Mabinogi packets used by Mabimessage and if it is listening in the wrong place or not working as it should Mabimessage won't get anything from Mabinogi.

I you have only one network (or know you have it on the right one) and winpcap is running maybe you should give us more info like, your OS etc so we can find out how to fix it.

Wont work says ... Please install Windows Vista SP2

It should probably say "Delete windows vista".

We made Mabimessage check if your running windows Vista then for it to see if you have service pack 2 installed as some of the things we use are only in SP2 such as the text to speech.

If you do have windows Vista with SP2 installed and see that msg then please let us know as our check might not be working for some reason on your machine.

Also if you don't have SP2 then maybe you should buy a copy of windows instead of pirating it. Because that's the only reason I could think of why someone wouldn't have SP2 installed.

I've whacked this together to monitor the times and encourage people to use mabimessage (It's only temporary till I make a nicer one and add it into Mabimessage):

If a boss was seen recently it's in black, red if it's due or over due (No one using mabimessage has seen it since the last spawn) and it goes green with the word "NOW" if it has been seen to have spawned and will stay that way for 10 mins (Which is the minimum time any boss will stay spawned, some stay longer).

A few changes we've made. The first being a skin change (We're thinking of make Mabimessge be able to have multiple skins of which you can chose from). The second is the user text filter which allows you to block lines of text containing key words like "www" and ".com" making it so you don't have to see bot spam in Mabimessage ever again.

The code used in the text filter should be easy to understand so you can edit it yourself if you fell it needs improving and you can post those improvements here if you feel like sharing.

We plan on adding a translation option to Mabimessage soon as well so you can know what those non english (or what ever your native language is) speaking people are saying. We're working on trying to get the google translation for this.

Do you have a way or a program(mabi massge) same as Korean game time to modify time?

Some additional features that should help determine patterns faster.

1) Have the server receive information about fomor command scroll use. It may not help as much as exact times but, knowing to within an hour of a field boss spawn.

2) Log when a field boss is killed.

3) I'd think the client could remove the IGN of the person who used it so it doesn't even make it to your server.

Both Arch Lich and Black Leopard are already known and timeable no matter what.

My friend has gone ahead and added a setting for changing the time so you can have it match the Korean servers. It's kind of a band-aid option in my opinion till we figure out the time packets (I think dev cat encrypted it...).

You don't need to download anything extra. Mabimessage is a cloud app which means when you load it the program will download the latest version. The new time settings are under "Settings > Time".
