i think this was harsh considering the work someone else did to make things easier for others.

but yes Ace it seems as of the patch on June 30th there is a problem for some. i went and edited mine and got the same results on 3 different PCs game crashes. so i had saved the one that was edited from June 23rd and it works fine, except if u get some of the new items then well u know what happens lol.

im thinking maybe when we backup the original that maybe we r getting too many files in there and GG is crashing the program for this reason. not sure yet but maybe if Ace could look at this it will help all of us again =))

I got this problem with the client after modding ini

It's actually weird, the client runs correctly with a modded ini where i changed almost everything (pendants and rings realms pots refs reverse gold passports, pardon letters and chests) exept uniques. When i try to use the modded ini with the changed uniques names too it crashes. I might have touched something i shouldn't have, but i don't know what it is...

any help?:confused:

i bet you have done names longer than 50 chars ! This wont work !
And yes some posts before we had the same problem and the same resolution.

well there is a small chance you wont get it to work. its so easy and fast if you know a good way how to edit them.
the fastest ways is for example XxXKnightXxX than just copy it and use it for all knight armors. so the only thing ul have to do is press ctrl+V :o
