Effectiveness of thievegloves was increased a bit
You can reet the hunting quests if you picked the wrong monster by accident
reduced horse quest cooldown.

And they almost fix bugs on a daily basis!
Haven seen such a professional team in years. Keep up the good work!

Hello everyone! We listened to the community, and made some improvements to make the game more pleasureable. All while maintaining the classic experience:


2021/05/06 Update:

Improvements
- Not enough items? Well, you're now going to get more of them. Global Drop Rate has been increased.
- Still not enough? We also increased the effectiveness of the Thief's Gloves!
- Can't wait for your horse? We reduced the maximum waiting time for your Horse Quests (the minimum stays the same) and the quests will now show a timer to let you know how much time you need to still wait.
- Picked the wrong enemy? You can now reset a Hunting Quest in order to choose the other one.
- Offline Shops too pricey? They now cost only 90 Yang / minute!
- Base Movement Speed has been bumped from 100 to 110!
- You can now create Return Scrolls in other villages, so to return to them faster!

One word on cheating/bot using
We like fair play and so should you. With this update we are upping our server-side detection and starting to take action against those who use unauthorized software.

The only thing weird about this server is the VAT id number available at the bottom of the page. Who puts that on an illegal game server?

It's difficult enough to find an oldschool server that has a defined and unyielding concept behind it, it's harder to find a server that stays alive for a period of a few months and retains an active playerbase, and the most impossible of all - a competent and professional team.
This server absolutely knocks it out of the park by providing a gameplay concept that's been lost in the Metin2 private server scene, and I'm referring to the Free2Play experience.
It seems the playerbase has largely solidified over the few days the server was online and that's understandable. Metin players love to serenade and reminisce about oldschool servers, but don't actually want to indulge in any of the grinding that comes with playing on such servers.
As for the team, I can't compliment them enough. In my experience, a team consisting of members who don't snap back at players is like encountering a diamond. This is one such instance, where team members are armed with gallons of patience, respect and they are inquisitive about the problems players might encounter while playing on the server. No sassy remarks, no negative comments towards players so far.
Quality-of-life updates and bugfixes are rolling out like hot cake and it seems like the developers are working tirelessly to create an enjoyable experience day 1 and onwards. Login went down at 3am and they were online to fix it. This is unprecedented for a server of this scale.

All in all, I don't often leave my two cents on server threads, but Mt2Classic is like no other out there. If you want the 2008-2009 experience at its core, you will love this place.

Respect for this server.. a bit too hard for me but a great praise to the team around the server!

I played 3 day<s, it was to hard for me.

If u wanna go up, you have to do more than 100 accounts over lv 15 (per account 2hour)

if the server is too hard, ure too weak

not true ^^
you can make easy money by create new accounts and make quests and sell the adder/changer, thats true.
But in my opinion it is just a good possibility in the future for new players to sell changer and make easy money for the start.

2021/05/09 Update!

Improved stuff
- You still don't have enough items? Well then, we turned up the Global Drop Rate a tad bit more.
- That skill just won't go to M1 at 17 huh? We dramaticaly increased the possibility to drop Forgetfull Scrolls from all Metin Stones!
- Want more Shop Points? Sure. Now all Metin Stones from level 25 (instead of 45) and all Bosses from 21 (instead of 41) have a chance of dropping Shop Points!
- Don't like a game of chance? Even if you don't get lucky, a small amount of Shop Coins will always be awarded [100% Chance] to you when you destroy a Metin Stone or kill a Boss.
- Too lazy to walk? Monsters now drop Map Scrolls that when used allow you to warp to that map instantly. This only works for Outside Maps and Villages (yes, even other empires)!
- Level Boxes for everyone! Level 40 and up boxes are now ready to be opened with some goodies!

Bugs that we squashed
- Inventory Expansion Tokens are now stackable as they should've been.
- We improved collision detection, so you should no longer get rubberbanded when you walk on bridges or near walls. Let us know if that still happens and we will fix it!
- We found out a bug with the Exchange when you had full inventory. That has now been fixed.
