Kind of how things like to work together.

Run SQL Server Configuration Manager.
Go to SQL Server Network Configuration > Protocols for SQLEXPRESS.
Make sure TCP/IP is enabled.

So far, so good, and entirely expected. But then:

Right-click on TCP/IP and select Properties.
Verify that, under IP2, the IP Address is set to the computer's IP address on the local subnet.
Scroll down to IPAll.
Make sure that TCP Dynamic Ports is blank. (Mine was set to some 5-digit port number.)
Make sure that TCP Port is set to 1433. (Mine was blank.)

then set AuthServer.opt ip from 127.0.0.1 to LOCALHOST
and it works

hallo an alle, mein problem ist etwas verwierend.
ich habe das aktuelle TUT verwendet rappelz server leuft ohne probleme.
nur jetzt verstehe ich nicht was fehlt bzw. was ich fixen muss :( mir ist klar das datenbanken wie Arcadia und Telecaster alle daten beinhalten und sie sind vorhanden ITEMS UND MOBS ,PETS Resource.dbo .

Win 7 Pro 64x SP1 (alle aktuelle updates)
Ms SQL Server 2012 64x

ich bekommen keine ERRORS daher bin ich verzweifelt.... ich sehe keine monster aber sie sind vorhanden auf der map..... zum testen bin ich herumgelaufen auf der insel und cube dungeon .

ich habe die option suche verwendet und bin in ein paar geschlossene themen geraten..... leider ist man nur auf Help thread hingewiesen den ich schon durchstöbert hab.

was mir aufgefallen ist das der GAME SERVER Paar DB ERRORS SPUCKT und ich denke das die probleme eher beim >>>(Files8.1_By_AL7roB_123\Files8.1_By_AL7roB\Game Engine\Resource) <<<
liegen.

Ich hab versucht einen script update "monster_respawn (df26b8de23d54dab0fceedacc447c5dc).lua" zwar hat CaptainHerlockServer in der console jede menge geladen aber das wars auch schon.
Fals jemand auf mein problem näher eingehen kann oder mich wo hinweisen könnte währe ich sehr dankbar. ich habe versucht die Resource LUA Scripten auszulesen mit editor aber das schaut so unübersichtlich aus das meine augen nach 1 h aufgegeben haben..... ich versuche das alles zu verstehen 'O.O' wenn jemand zu 100% rappelz p Server am laufen hat bzw nur mobs und pets , items würde mich sehr feruen für eine kleine erklärund was bei mir falsch bzw zum fixen wäre.

hmm im wired, O.o there is no fix i think all files i get from here ar not fixed.... was searching 2 days and think whata hell, so if there is something to fix pls let me know, i used all files was linked in this tutorial.

I can create user and log in
I can give me item
port me
give me buffs

Whats not workin an im trying to fix this:

Mobs are invisible but there are in game
im shure there is much more but i need only mobs :/

Help pls !! I want to create my own rappelz and following the tutorial but I'm stuck when restoring Auth.bak and Telecaster.bak. It keep saying "Specified cast is not valid. (SqlManagerUI)" when I tried to restore source from C:\Telecaster.bak and C:\Auth.bak however I can restore source C:\Arcadia.bak

is there any chance it can't restore because I'm still playing rappelz online (referring to rappelz.gpotato.com Epic 8.3) while the one I tried to create is Epic 8.1

Sorry for noob question, I'm not good with this kind of stuff. However I really want to create and play my own rappelz private, hopefully some1 who succeed can tell me where and which parts did I do wrong

Hey , I have done every step how ever when i launch Princess Aurora Server i get this error AUTH DP INT ERROR :[DPNETLIB]Connection Open (connect).]Specified SQL server not found.

Any advice are welcome

Make sure all of your server services are running with the SQL configuration manager.
