Well you call locale:ascii and country:US in your launch arguments so at least get rid of this...

N:game.local_flag:8192

It may be conflicting with your location.

Not sure where you got a lot of those things but if you want to take a look at my functioning one it is posted here...

Of course you may have to change some ports to match your launch but it should be close.

Ok - i emptied my game-server.opt-file and let only the most essential infos in where i know exactly what it does and it worked.

I kept most stuff i didnt know what it was for from the original release since i thought it should have been for a reason xD guess i was wrong lol.

Great this will be fun figuring out what was wrong in the opt-file, but at least its working! Thx a bunch mate and damn - i whish there would be an official API for those opt files lol xD

For the DES-generator, i found one linked in those many help request pages, but the link didnt work anymore... and i found also tons on the internet... slight problem was: none worked (took me 1hr+ to realize and ask for a re-link here after trying TONS combinations from various sites xD). Then i used this DES-generator and on the 1st attempt it worked... damn these content-eating file-sharing services xD

Sorry I was just stating c1ph3r posted it.

I will give proper author credits next time. No offense meant to either Pyrok or yourself. You both have been working on this stuff since its inception along with a lot of other talented people.

Alright this is utterly ridiculous.... Who knows how to turn off the HV Pass? I've checked all the scripts and even the databases and smps to see how the hell this thing is getting activated and there is nothing activating it.....

Do you mean the buff? Isn't it somewhere in the lua scripts added as event state?

Nope.... I've been up and down those scripts and nothing is adding the HV buff state.... I can't find anything that's activating it...

they have the old code deactivated

thats something that could be over written in diffrent lines but as far as the actual source im thinking its got to be in ETC_Script_Functions.lua id start there as the server is set up like offical that means ETC_Script_Functions needs to be rewritten example would be line 54

its not being added via scripts its being detected by scripts but the actual buff is effect/item so if memory serves me correctly this morn then the item is in db its linked to its effect and the when someone buys one from cs then it flags account the lua's look for the flag not the state thats the way it was ment to be in the orginal repacks but we never got around to doing a true fix for it past 7.3

So then rather than adding an item or the state itself, your saying that something is forcing the flag to be active and thus initiating the HV state? If so, then that would have to have been done in either one of the smps during character creation or in the on_first_login.lua I would imagine. I've checked the ETC_Script_functions and there isn't anything in there even about the flags that I've seen, but I'll check again....

ok before you noticed that hv buff worked but the item didnt when it came to 1 click tp to hv or if you got lucky and found the inventory item that worked for 1 click tp it didnt give you the buff with it this was an error we had issues with in former versions now it seems as tho it flags from duo resources >then flags to char

Ok so I just checked and something is inserting the HV pass item 910023 into the dbo.item, although it may not show in game... I'm just not sure what's doing it yet.... still researching

Ok, so just playing with the buffs and noticed this.... but apparently when you try to give a buff a timer above 1 hour the timer freezes and does not count down.... Is anyone else having this issue?
