Many have and windows defender classes a lot of things as a virus and it is not, even after updating.

Well if you look at the game it says retail does it not, so me posting retail wow is not the war within to you?

Hi, I meant the files in the "Guides" folder. Those in the "Guides" folder that you linked are the same as those that come with the addon when fresh installed.
And there is no The War Within section.

So this is what you did

You downloaded it, opened it, looked in to it like a forensic investigation.

Claim it is the same as the addon guides when they are not.
Did not install it to find out.
Comes and makes a post claiming it is there, when it is.

Want to back up your claim?

Extract the guides to the RXP folder and overwrite. Then tell me again that are not there.

When you find that they are. I will ask, why did you accuse they are not there, when you did not even use it!

Hi, i installed it like described in your guide and it did not work. So is started to look what might be the issue. I am just trying to solve a problem.

Well the troubleshooting link says what to do.

The cause is a corrupted installation.

So you installed it and did not work.
So I guess you did not delete the addon, delete the saved variables, reinstalled it and added the guides.

If you did, it would have worked.

I had to leave a long time ago and just came back. I currently have the 2022 version of Shadowlands with auto-update enabled. Do I need to download the link from the first post to get the latest Zygor and place the files in the game directory?

Is this all I need to do?

Yes and you DM me the same message and it is yes

You choose not to say what addon, so it is going to be hard to know what the issue is.

Nice I do suggest that to other people and they do not want to do it.

Common cause. Major update or patch update makes the old one not compatible.
