Yes, by your IP address. Keeping main character and botters on seperate IP addresses will prevent most issues such as that.

They will claim that your IP has been used in a DDos-attack against them. That's what they told me when I asked them why my IP was banned from their site. Funny that 'TheBoyWhoLost', also known as Dutchy (their moderator) spread the rumor on ConquerAI's forum. So they're saying that my IP has been used while I didn't have ConquerAI installed...

Since it's true , lying people about cog, I talked to an ex CoAI user , he said me few things that werent true about cog , I've asked him to check our community and clearly he was impressed.
It wouldn't surprise me if you DDosed us

'Your' community has nothing to do with it. He asked me why he couldn't access the site and I answered the question. I rather not go to the 'which bot is better' subject again.

#Also as confirmation of the rumor spread by CoG's moderator, i'd like to see some direct proof of a DDoS-attack in which my IP would have been used. IPs can easily be obtained through the IRC Channel and therefore is a list with IP addresses not valid proof.
