Official 5165 FAQ/Question thread

yes i did write /newacc and i check the users folder in OldCODB and i saw that the account was there but i still get the message "Server Maintenance or Network Congested. Try again later."

do u start the game from play.exe?

Conquer.exe

is there anything else i need to do with the command prompt to be able to log into the server? mine looks like this

any ideas on what is needed to be done to make my server work?

It looks like you set everything up right.

so you have any idea what could be making my server say "Server Maintenance or Network Congested. Try again later." when i try to log in?

yeah. but do i change WebServerPort=8080? to 9958? or keep it there?

Webserver port has nothing to do with logging in.

ok was just curious about that i didnt know what it meant. now moving on.. i open the required stuff to run the server, Hamachi, NewestCoserver.exe, and the game client by Conquer.exe, yet i cannot log into the server because it says the error, "Server Maintenance or Network Congested. Try again later." any idea what is causing this problem i have some pictures posted on the the previous page.

What ip are you using?

i am using my hacachi ip i have a router.

If you're using hamachi, then you shouldn't have to mess with your router at all.

woot i got it working! i was using the wrong hamachi thing and thx so much for all the help!
