Just del or rename the file for now then.

Note...Rorrim the debugger has pointed out that I should explicitly state you must now run Start.exe and don't forget to give it admin rights.

I was doing the quiz yesterday and I accidentally double clicked on a name, much to my horror (I was on a roll for once) m8 tried to log that client in, wasting valuable time. So is there a way to turn that off or can you make it to where the client has to be disconnected in order to log in?

Thanks Rorrim, actually its only supposed to to do login if the client state is DC or NotLoggedIn, so far its always worked that way for me, never tried it during the quiz tho. Can you please run a few more tests on your end may be your OS.

Probably because the display name you set in m8 isn't the same as the char name in the game. If you bring the char into game you should be able to remove the tag name in the S menu.

I found a bug! when you dont launch a character via m8 it doesn't show their name. My seller is rarely launched by m8 because I like having the music on it, so that the noise will awaken me about a half hour after server maint, perfect for reconnecting and getting my favorite spot. While your working on spiffing up m8 can you look into this and fix it? Thanks
Note: even if I manually insert the tag it won't show

Or have a music on option ;)

Thanks Rorrim and hippie for that early bug catch, seems I was using too small a hammer,
it should behave itself now.
Also did a music on option just for you Rorrim, its in the L menu.

Note: Everyone make sure you have the CO2m8_235b.rar file
as the first release was a bit stuffed up.

Now it only shows the 2 non m8 started clients on me, in a not logged in state. in the last version just before I checked here I noticed that it had duplicated those two, due to that I restarted it and it suddenly gave me a runtime 381 error. After trying to restore to the previous version it only shows the 2 and replicates them with each refresh

All the other times it has picked up the clients without trouble, I wonder why it's messed up this time.

I'll reboot later to see if that will help unless you isolate the problem by the time I get back. I dont have time to wait a half hour on the tgers to become idle.

Just noticed that the old m8 never renamed it back to the standard names, so maybe that's one reason it wont show up in the older m8

Edit, after mucking with it I managed to get 1 of the clients to be read due to putting his name in the box. I turned the rename client window off for now.

If there's a music on option then my glasses must be malfunctioning, for I dont see it.

Edit2: after a reboot, since the server is obviously down I noticed that m8 suddenly goes to about the middle of the screen, just beside the login box, at the same row that I place it at, weird.

Edit4: Also, sometimes it just dont recognize the client. of course im using an off wall client

yea I'm having a similar problem where sometime its doesn't show the account logged in

Joek's been sick so that's why he hasnt been around.

Anyhow, another suggestion is that the L menu allow for the same name but lower case, for example, I have a noob that keeps my one char's name from appearing in all lower case so that no one can steal it.
