From the point of view of someone who has more responsibilities than just SRO

Cons:
-Silkroad has always been either time or money consuming. No SRO server is not "pay2win". The game itself is built pay2win which is as well present on Sailor. Either you spend time or money, you choose :)
-Wheel system is enabled which enlarges the gap between donators and non donators.
-Slow loading client due to anti cheat engines having to boot up before the client itself does. Guess it's for the greater good but can be annoying for some.
-Quite high Silk prices. Quality has its price.

Pros:
-Using unique SRO R files which aren't outdated. New graphics, better client stability and client fixes which not even Joymax managed to publish.
-Very slow game paste in terms of item tiers (90 Cap server has had been online for 8 months and the last degree of SoX which was SUN got released at the ~5th or 6th month)
-The by far most advanced game system and features. I won't be able to list them all. My favorite 3 are: Item point matchmaking; Implemented vsro skilltree into sro R for chineses; rewriting the formula of reflect skill calculation
-A total games played limit for each individual game mode for specific coins you need for higher SoX levels. A guy playing 18 hours a day won't have their high tier SoX faster than someone playing 3 hours a day.
-Offers a great grind journey. Nostalgia is given if wanted. A tryhard typ of guy? Given as well by the current Unions playing. You choose your own path.
-The server has barely any goldbot because goldbotting is actually not worth a lot. You won't need to leave your PC running 24/7 nor have to login multiple chars from multiple devices.

Conclusion:
Overall I am very satisfied what the server has to offer. I don't have to worry being absent for a week or 2 and falling behind. My brain doesn't go full zombie addiction mode and pushes me beyond my limits just because I could grind for more progress (progress is capped).
With all honesty this is the server you should consider sticking to. It's actually a long term, unlike the other so advertised cashgrab, server which offers continuesely support and updates by the Administration team throughout the whole servers lifespan.

I'm well aware that many are skeptical about starting from 0 while others have been playing for 8 months (90cap). First of all I have to say that the server has been competitive till the very end which pushed people using their gold and silks to gear up (no stupid inflated gold/silk stacking). Secondly the sets we have been fusing will be weaker than normal 10dg items. Surely wheels will have an impact and some will pick 9th DG wheeled gear over 10dg normal items but while 9dg items might provide good stats in terms of STR INT it will certainly not provide any good defense which will eventually force everyone to use 10dg items.
