Understanding HWID ban/ shadow bans

Hi, I think I have a very strange case here. I have been reading this thread for a while but I only got confused.
I recently bought a second hand notebook on ebay and they told me they were banned from COD: WZ before but I did not care about it. When WZ 2.0 was released, I downloaded it on battle.net and next day I was banned. Then I downloaded on my main account on steam and it was banned next day again. I was thinking maybe it's a mistake and opened the third account and BAM, banned again. Only then, I was sure they banned my hardware of this notebook.
My first login with battle.net account was on 16.11.2022. I read couple of things about shadow banning being between 7-14 days and so on but I did not get how it works. I have been trying to contact activision for 3 weeks on different accounts but no luck.
Does anyone have any idea how I can solve this? Should I try with a different account again?

you have a hwid ban, you can't play the game unless you spoof your notebook.

But I do not wanna pay any money for a free game, especially because the previous owner cheated in the game, not myself. I have to find out a way to contact a human being in activision :(

So you didnt cheat in warzone, but accidentally bought a banned computer, then you accidentally found your way to elitepvpers COD cheaters-section to whine about it. Let me give you a word of advice. You'll get no sympathy anywhere. This is just stories that no one really cares about and especially not Activision. I don't mean to be harsh but you should stop wasting your time on pathetic made-up stories like this and face reality.

so you bought a notebook that you knew had hwid ban and now you're here crying. Either pay for a spoofer(perm or temp) or buy new pc/laptop

not accidentally. they told me they were banned and but they didn't tell me it was hwid banned. i am not looking for any sympathy, i came here because i know a lot of people are troubled with activision's stupid ban policy. so, stop judging people with the assumptions you're making, you can see that i bought as second hand in the attachment. I'm adult enough to say that I cheat if I do it. elite member my ass.

Not my intention to sound rude or harsh, its just reality. You won't get an unban so you got two choices. Spoof or purchase a new computer. The choice is yours.

It's all irrelevant anyway.

You're unfortunately never gonna talk to a human at Activision and even if you somehow did they aren't gonna care or believe you.

They don't unban people who literally did absolutely nothing - CASERMA-RHINO - they're not gonna unban an ex cheaters laptop.

I was using cheat and got ban instantly
i also appeal they said it is final (Unauthorized Software for Cheating/Modding/Hacking )
i am getting shadow ban in new acc

it is permanet or 14 days and i am good ?

Your computer will now be flagged, it can either be for 7-14 days or permenant, just depends the type of hwid ban.

If your going to get perma banned it will be within 24 hours.

you have hwid ban only if you get permaban. If your sb doesn't turn into bp, wait 14 days and you can play safely. If you don't want to wait, spoofer.

possible they ban IP?

Out of curiosity, does anyone know what is happening here?

Let me preface this by saying, I kind of did it for the science. Basically, I don't really care about the game anymore, or play it.

In 2020 I got permanently banned on my main account, on Modern Warfare and Cold War and Warzone Caldera. Basically stopped playing. Couple weeks back I bought a new pc. Decided to play/try Warzone 2 on my old perma banned main account.

Long story short, the account is still banned for Caldera etc, but I can play Warzone 2 just fine. Is it because it is a new pc? Despite logging in on my old account?

Not even shadow banned.

Different game/engine.

I can play Warzone 1 while perma-banned in Warzone 2 and vice versa.
