The addons are free, you can get them on the official page (although it's just a repack of many other addons, you can launch CurseForge launcher and update the components manually)

you are right but, with the free version you won't get the profiles for every addon and 911sky is providing the paid version in his post. :)

But seeing it is an expansion update. I always suggest deleting the saved variable file as well for a clean update.

True, though been using WinRAR for free since the mid-90s, lol. If 7zip is more reliable and recommended by you I'll make the switch. Will be able to test the addon in a few hours. Thanks for the help.

The issue is, people do not update it. Then use a old one on a new file

People are used to software auto-updating (thanks Adobe) and usually don't bother to update if it's working. It's only when something doesn't work that they look for updates.

Yes a good point and 7zip has extracted rar5 for years.
But when it comes to winrar, people never update it to extract the new format. Then wonder why it does not work. Then demand they have the latest. The last time someone did that, it was 2024 and the one they had was from 2019 and they claimed it was the latest but never extracted the file.

I use rar over zip. Seeing zips can be easily manipulated and rar cannot.

The few issues I have seen is

1. People using wrong or outdated software to extract the file.
2. They install it over the old one and merge it together.
3. Their saved variables were damaged and they chose not to delete them.

Instead, people just blame the file, when no one else had any issues.

Not sure if it is just me or if zygor messed something up, but the talent suggestion build seems to be broken, cant make a load out using the "select Zygor suggested Builds", and everything selected just has an X marked on it.
Is anyone else got the same problem, or should i be looking into another addon causing a conflict?

ok so say i was going to reinstall it. now that i have it downloaded do i need to delete stuff(and if so where are they so i can delete them) and how do i reinstall it? i have latest version of winrar since i bought it.

Delete the old one
Delete the saved variable for it

Install the new one

You could have used 7zip to extract it.
