That reminds me of a match that'll be aired on TV in germany this evening. I might watch it, it's just one of those benefit-matches with all-star-teams. Are you playing any other Multiplayer games besides LoL?Quote:
Playing lol atm, this evening Belgium plays against Scotland so i'll be watching soccer :)

Don't worry, if push comes to shove I can always kindly sent out personal reminders via PM even though I'm hoping this won't be necessary.Quote:
yay a red post °0°, unfortunatly, the people who come here to increase their postcount, don't take the team to read every message written. Therefore I highly doubt the flood of (spamming) Germans will ever come to an end :(
You can still stick to AE standards though - I do too. I also wouldn't consider this to be a matter of one's whereabouts, but solely a matter of habit. I highly doubt that many Americans visiting the UK will start using expressions like "I gotta go to the loo", just because they happen to be in Europe.Quote:

I know, I was a bit confused, in Dutch we also say 'voetbal' and not soccer but W/EQuote:

Thanks, I'll report those who just come here to spam 'good morning' and posts of that kind. I know who is here to have a discussion and who's not as I read all the posts here ;oQuote:

You can, but calling football soccer, is one of the worst things, you can do in England. "Soccer" btw has much more to do with a foot against "football".Quote:

soccers are sensitive (if not permanently butthurt). Watch Hooligans and you will see the reality. Thats why its actually dumb to care about it..we should all reframe this kind of interests...Quote:
I'd say this is just someone being super sensitive and/or overly aggressive. But I can't really relate anyway, as I am totally not into soccer.
It'd help if you'd notice what kind of books you're in to ;)Quote:
I'm sorry for disturbung your conversation but I guess this thread is the right way to go: Can you recommend any books / other mediums to improve my english skills?
I don't have any real problems expressing myself (well, I think so, don't know if it's the case) but especially since I'm out of school I'm very unsatisfied with my grammar. We had some english lectures but those weren't that helpful.. :/
Please tell me it isn't you who is trying to break glass with his laughing :-/Quote:
