People have to be insane to provide a picture and ID etc to a random person online. Wouldn't be surprised if on the other end you would be selling identities.

How's it illegal? Nobody is forced to provide it. They either decide to or don't. What exactly do you think somebody can do with an ID that has most of it covered with something or edited out? We literally tell people to cover all of the important bits up that we don't need to see for that very reason and even recommend adding a watermark over the image to say only to be used by proofcore.io on Feb 6 2022 (for example). You can remove your tinfoil hat now, lmao.

He says that he is the coder of ramex. I don't think that he is new. I assume his "ramex" is just more famous than he is.
