I put the OldCODB in C:/ and when i start NewestCOServer it crashes O_O
Can anyone help me?
EDIT:
nvm i solved it...idk how my DMap ended up in the recycle bin xD

RE-EDIT: Man can u help me...i made the server going, added the IP of my hamachi network (yes i am still on hamachi when i want to login), i added the IP address in server.dat, put the port 9958 (i don't rly know why but i'v seen the CO servers and other PServer have the 9958 port) and when i try to login I can't...i tryed the command /newacc username password [PM] in the console but i think that the command isn't working x( nothing appears...Can u help me and tell me what to do after i start NewestCOServer and download a CO Client?

**Just to let you guys know, i changed the password on this script so its not my password, so don't bother saying "thanks for your sql password" coz its not!**

then try logging in.

you either haven't edited your server.dat to an IP that works (127.0.0.1 doesn't work)

or

you need to change the config file to the one i have above.

make sure the oldcodb folder is in C/

if that doesn't work well i dunno.

Yeah, Im haveing the same problem as heart. Checked the config, fine.. Tried your suggestion.. changing 8080 to just 80.. no change in the problem.. Checked the IP adress on the server.dat... Thats fine too... Getting a little annoyed :(

what client are you using? eg: darkside co client or somthing different?


make sure the server is on? lol, just making sure :P

What IP are you using, cause if you're using 127.0.0.1 it won't work.

When I go to run NewestServer.exe or what it was the cmd opens up and says that the database cannot be found.

Oki... So my first problem is all nice and sorted... And now heres another.

How do I create an account?

Placing the command in the server doesnt seem to work...

And going through the MYSQL hasnt helped much either.

Changed all the privileges on MYSQL to ensure my dedi's IP has privileges

running out of Ideas here...
