Interestingly, I ran the game and server in xp compatibility mode and it ran a bit longer for me but still keep getting the server 7 error and random game.exe stops... the blue screen is a wild one because the error is from my network adapter but it is disabled and not in use I am using wifi so why that occurs when running the server is puzzling for sure but, I am still trying to resolve it because I want so bad to use the 1.8 and it is driving me mad I can't figure out whats wrong.

I haven't given up. Maybe I will create a partition for xp and run it on it...

I never even thought to try compatibility mode, thanks for the advice and info.
My winXP was on wifi and the win7 is hardwired not sure if that means anything though.

I misplaced your server I downloaded before, I want to give yours a try again, I think I may have fixed my trouble, but before I post anything I want to really give it a run and be sure... if all is good I will post what works for me on windows 7.

ok what I finally had to do to get the server 1.8u2 to run

Just like server 1.7 I have to use both java 8u66 and 8u60 but first installed the 8u66 i586 then 8u60 i586 then pythong as per the read me... forgot I did restart the system after I installed all 3 parts, you can try after each install if you like

I can play the game for a great deal of time, I just bought 50 cars because before it would quit after buying 3 or 4. I could not buy more than 3 skill mods, I upgraded 15 cars one after the other without a server quit... I raced 15 events including TE one after the next none stop without any server quit...

I still get a rare quit but I had that with 1.7 as well. I do not mind one every couple few hours..

This is so awesome berkay! I am so enjoying this work you've done!!

So fatal error 7 my guess has to do with java since my server is currently working with the java installed as I had to.

Can we use unlock all tracks with 1.8u2? Can I edit the launchevent file?

Cuz I had an idea - make the event icons launch the MW/Carbon version of the track, it should make the AI a little more challenging.

I am using the unlock all track on one server and my all original track on another, all is working now for me... I have read many others saying it works for them as well...

From where do you know that the Dodge Super Bee 2012, Porsche 918 and the Pagani Huayra exist? That's what I'm thinking about months... From where do you get the information? :)

-> Dodge Super Bee 2012 never existed. You're thinking about the 2015 Dodge Challenger Concept, which was in the game files in build 1594.
-> Porsche 918 RSR was in the game files in build 1594.
-> Pagani Huayra never existed.

Thanks for the info.
Tried every compatibility mode and still crashes so that didn't help.
I think Java may be an issue, cant be anything else, disabled firewall etc...
reinstalled Python completely....still crashes.

On my winxp, I am using my "unlock all tracks v2" and the game runs perfectly.
Others are also using different map versions and its working for them as well.

I did as you suggested and still had the same error of the game loosing connection (error 13) about every 10 mins.

So I then installed Java 7 update 60, because that is on my winxp along with Java 8 update 66.
I then set the server editor and the NFSW.exe to run in compatibility mode winxp service pack 3.
The game has been on for about 1/2 hr now and still running great.
If I don't update this post that means what I did worked.

I figured since it runs great on my winxp laptop, I set everything up on the win7 to mimic the winxp and it seemed to have worked.

No go, the game stayed on longer but still got the error 13 lost connection, yet on the win xp, it has been running well over a day now and still staying logged in.
I just do not get it.

Ah, it seems the cars that had the wrong hash number in v1.7 are the same in v1.8, Cross ZO6 The Nissan Silvia, Couple of Mazda and more, I am working getting a complete list together of the cars in dealer that need to be fixed... I found the basket for Cross ZO6 SRV-CAR285 the other ZO6 have the correct hash according the the text file list of hash numbers but when I buy the remainder of the ZO6, they all show as Cross car or the previous one I bought, but after the game crashed they showed normal in garage but I had 2 of the zo6 Beast edition and attempting to sell one caused the game to crash again and now my carslots is corrupt and the game crashes every time I try to load that driver... so anytime I get a game crash I figure something became corrupt in the carslots and if I replace the carslot with the default from the server I can then continue to use that driver... so the game.exe stops working may be because of a corrupt carslot that seems to be the only time now I get that. I still get fatal error 7 if I buy more than 3 skill mods at a time... other than that just a random fatal error every couple hours or so...

One other thing, when I buy a car that comes with skill mods and perf parts, if I try to upgrade the skill mods or performance parts I get a fatal 7 error, on any car equipped with parts. I can buy stock and add parts but can not upgrade any car with parts. I have the serevr as it is downloaded, nothing added or changed!

Hey guys, I was wondering if there was a somewhat easy way to change the value of cars? There's a few cars that I'd really like to change the IGC price of. I guess if there was a easy way I would have heard about it by now but I thought i'd ask anyway.

Well fairly easy, in this file located in nfsw server (folder)/www/nfsw/Engine.svc/catalog
productsInCategory_NFSW_NA_EP_PRESET_RIDES_ALL_Cat egory.xml

you would need to edit with notepad or xml editor and really take a look and you will see <Price>550000.0000</Price> but some sections do not give a specific name to a car but back it up then have at it...

I am doing something similar but adding boost cost and some adjustments
