Shows where your priorities were.
I have no priorities.

I wrote a super basic source around 3 years ago. Someone wanted some minor features added to it so I did the job.

Eventually their project turned into nothing and I had this sitting on my hdd so I released it.

End of story.

PS: You're welcome to release something better. I have no interest in conquer, I released this to help people have something to work with. Obviously starting from scratch is always the way to go if you have the knowledge.

Or you could just continue being a fucking moron for no reason, that works too <3

Wouldn't be difficult at all.

Then do so.

Till then, people can use my multi year old spaghetti code if they want to or until something viable shows up as an alternative.

He was just stating that this source isn't really worth being called 'solid' as you stated in the beginning of this thread, Infact he has a very valid point.

And I've stated multiple times that I couldn't care less if anyone uses this source. It was released as an old reference for people to work on as open source base. Most of the code in its current state was not written by myself and I couldn't begin to tell you what issues it might have in its current form. I also have no real memory of how the source is structured to make any efficiency or stability debates besides 'meh, it runs fine'.

Before you can complain about being 'bad' I would hope to see either A: better resources being contributed or B: constructive updates to existing projects.

I have zero involvement in the conquer 'community' and have not played the game in 5+ years. Having him try to shit on me for offering tidbits of advice from time to time is just stupid. If he wants to correct something I've said then he's also welcome to do that but no, he'd rather just troll.
