I am going to go ahead and assume you are a veno... I'll use Venomous and Ironwood as an example. When you scroll over the spells, you see a cooldown time, that's the magic number you want. You don't want to use that exactly however as the game will not actually be ready at that instant. This begins to be a little trial and error, it will depend on CPU and connection as well as server connection, but it can be set up pretty well. I would use Ironwood with 8.1 Delay, followed by Venomous on a 1.2 delay three times with the final being at 0 Delay. You might be able to set it up even shorter than that, or may have to go higher. This will require focus on the Program window and the game to be set to unfreeze. Different mobs are going to require different set-ups. I usually leave a second or two between my casts so I don't pull aggro off my pet, however, sometimes it's better to take a hit and kill the mob in eight seconds rather than drag it out for 20-25. You'll see the usage play a roll switching between windows, I noticed it big while healing in TT runs. Focus on the game ends up with a dead pet before most bosses reach the half way mark, yet if I focus the program I have no problems keeping my pet above 50% HP even on the big hits and consecutive damage spams. Another thing to pay attention too; when you cast the same spell in the game and are just mashing the cast button, the game will register each click for a fraction of a second. So if the recast is a second, you push the button ten times, it will likely wait 3-4 seconds before it registers the button press with the cooldown finished. This is the problem with trying to set the recast below the actually cooldown, as I'm sure you noticed.
I personally cast Lv1 Scarab with pet on auto, first delay at 4 seconds and two at 3 seconds then the last one at 40. This let's me do some mean damage, but also focus on healing. If my pet is taking some major damage, I'll cast the initial, sometimes a second but that's it, rest will be heal spamming. For pots, I set my health up at around 60% then soul transfusion around 25%. Mana at 75%.
Hope this helps in someway.
