Understanding HWID ban/ shadow bans

Hi all, just wondering I've been shadowbanned for the second time on my main account. Never hacked, never used anything, this ban happened both times playing plunder after hitting 25+ kills. I have an xbox as well so was wondering if playing on that would still put me in shadow lobbies? I'm assuming so, but thought I'd double check. Also, if that's the case would it work just using another account on my xbox? (I'm assuming my pc is hwid flagged while my shadowban is active, so can't use new account without spoofing). Thanks for your help!

Hey ppl Just had a quick advice question - basically, as I understand, I have been shadow banned on my main account. Preface: I guaranteed don't have any aimbot or walls or anything like that - I have been shadow'd 2 times before and both times, I was unbanned in around a week. This time, I think I've been banned at least since September 22nd, so now we're up to 2 weeks. I haven't been unbanned yet. Side note: I have NOT used an unlock tool on my own PC, however, around a couple of weeks before this ban, I gave my account to one of my friends who uses unlock tools and he camo-modded one (exactly one lol) gun for me on HIS PC. However, nothing really happened immediately after. He, however, got recently shadow'd and then HWID banned I think (he got banned later in the MW2 beta as well). Fast forward to around September 22nd and I'm shadow banned. Basically, I have had absolutely NO cheating software rolling around on my PC, ever.

Interesting thing is, I don't get the classic >350 ms crap - on my main account, ping search stays seemingly normal (around 40 and 60 ms etc) though it takes a while to find a match now. During the early parts of the shadow ban, I could find matches fairly easy. More importantly, I always get kicked at exactly 10 kills and yes, there are some cheaters in the games.

Anyways, it's been 2 weeks and no dice. Today, I made a new account and I immediately got kicked at 10 kills in the first match. I can still search for games easily and almost immediately get into lobbies but I always get kicked at 10 kills (and I think some kids are cheating though I only played 2 matches so I can't confirm). Wondering if anyone has any idea on what's happening here? HWID ban or should I just wait longer? I deleted the stupid blueprint off my main today too lollll.

Just keep waiting, either the shadow ban goes away or it turns into a perm ban. My last shadow ban lasted 18 days. Also, just so you know, once your friend logged into your account and used his unlock tool it's literally the exact same as you using one yourself. And even worse now that his PC is HWID banned, your Activision account is now tired to a HWID that's been perm banned.

I was banned for using an unlock all tool and I have been HWID banned. I have no intentions of cheating or using third party software after that. I just need to know my options of being able to play again before the new MW 2 comes out. Has anyone used Sync.top? Obviously I dont want to buy a whole new pc but that seems like the best option right now. When Vangaurd came out I only got to play against bots for about 2 hours becuase the moment i logged on i got shadowbanned then permabanned 2 hours later. I dont want that to happen with the new one. Any ideas?

Same here and would love to know that as well. And I want to know if a permanant spoofer can cause damage or problems to my computer in the long run?

Hey so I got an interesting situation re my HWID ban. Basically I got banned a year ago. Had some success with a spoofer but recently that was shutdown. During that time I also got a XSX and PS5. I had been playing Warzone fine on those for the past 2 years no issues what so ever. So I then decide to try and link my XSX Warzone account to a fresh battlenet account. Thinking maybe an aged account might get through their checks or whatever. I managed to get in 1 match on my pc before I was shadow banned. I was banned the next day. Bam as soon as that account touched my pc it got pawned. lol. RIP 2 years of playtime oh well. I figure well at least I got the PS5 account right? Jump on to the PS5 only to find im now shadow banned there to and the account is under review. Likely going to be banned there as well. Question is. How the heck did they find my PS5 account when that account didnt touch my HWID banned pc like the XSX account did? Are they tracking IP? Any theories?

My case is similair but worse. Haven't played since last banned almost a year. Then bought the game, played for a few hours then tried to use the unlock tool, banned instantly. Bought the game the second time, played for a few hours, tried to inject hack, banned instantly before starting the game. Bought the game the third time, no hack or unlock tool used at all, started the game fine, clicked multiplayer mode but didn't start a match, quit and closed launcher, opened it again and bam, account is banned. I think they have my HWID flagged and banned me due to that fact alone without even checking.

All on PC, same hardware, hard drives wiped clean before each attempt. Unlock tool used on first account and the hack used on second account are not known to be detected that easily and instantly. I never got shadowbanned. Just instabanned.

I did all this because I wanted to find out if they ban some computers that have been or were used to cheat heavily in the past. I now believe they think I was once a cheater and always will be a cheater so any attempt, legit or not, to play on this computer will never be allowed. Fuck Activision.

That seems to be their philosophy unfortunately. Once a hacker always a hacker. No second chances. Our only hope now is that the bans don't carry over to MW2/WZ2. And I do have some good news on that front. My first banned account was able to play the MW2 beta on PS5. I have a feeling that bans aren't going to carry over despite what certain sources may or may not have said. I suspect they're going to give us all a fresh start. I wish they'd unban everyone banned from WZ1 for the last month or whatever but it is what it is. For now just play other games till WZ2. Or find a good HWID spoofer.

Thanks for the info. I just disputed all those charges. Hopefully I will get some of those refunded but all would be too much to hope for at this point. Filed an appeal on all three and got the same boilerpate response. Good thing MW2 is on Steam, I guess it is a lot easier to get a refund on Steam if I get an instaban again? Which in my case will be in less than 5 minutes when all they see is my dirty ass PC.

Steam does not offer refunds for games you've been banned on

Its been a while since I used a spoofer. But do spoofers still have to wait out the 7 day shadow ban thats in place for fresh accounts? Or can we bypass that with a spoofer?

Spoofers allow you to bypass the shadow period for new accounts.
