Hey Folks,

If you are new/exisiting owner of one Silkroad's server, then you are supposed to get proper security when server goes into release phase.

Nowadays, every unprotected server is weak, it means, that typical server is under security leaks, such as exploitable packets or flood based attacks.

You can see on many community forums the old SROProt releases or other protection applications. They all work badly. Why? They are usually decompilled used ILSpy or any different decompilator available on internet. Also, these leaks are mainly not full and not supported by the author. Imagine, that your application, in which you engaged so much gets released. How would you feel in that case? I suppose you would breakdown. Remember that "free" does not always means "good".

How SROProt affects your server?
Gives security, working as primary "gateway" for all players. Also it contains some extra features, you can additionaly use for your server!

CSRO-r specific features:

ProjectHax needs private server owners to beta test the Silkroad proxy filter that is completely controlled via a web control panel. It has all the features you could possibly want including an opcode whitelist and an opcode blacklist.

It's been tested with iSRO & SilkroadR but ProjectHax needs someone to actually try it with a private server. The private server does not need to be an active one with hundreds or thousands of players. This is simply for testing the panel configuration options and starting/stopping/restarting the server.

The proxy will be run off a VPS for the time being but once it goes live it'll be run off an OVH server in France with Anti-DDoS Pro. OVH's DDoS protection is perfectly fine with "Permanent Mitigation" option turned on.
