hi, my antivirus kaspersky just removed midnight, saying its infected with Trojan.Win32.Bazon.a

yea it did it for me too...

it worked totally fine for over a week and now that...stupid kaspersky

since kaspersky has blocked midnight, even i set it as trusted program, each time i close midnight impossible to restart it without rebooting computer. midnight is like frozen and i can't kill process. any idea why?

got the same thing but found something for it:

i unblocked midnight and marked all things safe then ill restart midnight, ill pauze my virusscanner ,start midnight then turn virus on again works fine

it doesn't work for me. as soon i re-activate protection midnight get frozen and i have to reboot system.
At virustotal.com 23/53 antivirus consider midnight as dangerous.
Midnight check name/password and updates, and its not enough to be classified as trojan.
I hope that buFFy will clear the situation quickly.

You aren't supposed to turn it back on as long as Midnight is running :rolleyes:

Midnight is not supposed to be a trojan, so i just wondering why 50% of antivirus think it is.

Because of false-positives. Midnight interacts with other processes (GW2) and that's what viruses and malware in general sometimes do.

Am I blind or is there really no download link of demo midnight?
