Well actually we still haven't nailed down if the problem is win7 or something funky in hippies setup, so you testing it and reporting the result would be most appreciated.

im pretty sure it somethign 2 do wif me i have i freind who i just setup win 7 on her pc n she doesnt haf the issues wif the m8

joek, it's doing it again, its now stuck in the upper right corner, and my older version isnt working, keeps poping up a crash report. I have to be able to move things around you know :P it also does it on my windows 7 laptop, which I decided to use for my seller and it's super slow, guess my laptop isnt as good as it looked

rorrim try close m8 n reopening after it gets stuck thats whut works 4 me n joek whuts the info button 4 in the l menu i haf pressed n it doesnt nothing 4 me lol

yeah, but it dont work well on my windows 7 laptop, its weird

Is now available for game clients 5125 to 5219
Various fixes and alterations.
Found and fixed a critical bug for people running desktop resolutions over 1024x768.
Added ability to segregate characters by server names.

DL'd the new version and imported my M8-AccountIN.txt file. It says all files went in but I only see one char on the list. I exported my list and all chars are on that list so I know they are all in there. I just can't see them in the list.

Any idea?

You have to select the server in the drop-box over the char selection list.
I grouped all the character by server because it was getting confusing with all the different characters on different servers.
The first time it picks the first server after that it remembers the last one you selected.

I have a few issues here... Here's what I did..

The usual way I did to upgrade the version..
--> overwriting every existing files from the RAR file into my own extracted folder, leaving the M8data folder alone.. works fine all the way up till 2.26, but I see nothing when I did the same thing for 2.27..

Hence I thought of renaming off my M8data folder and letting the application re-import everything for me, probably that would solve my issue.
--> but I still do not see anything in there.. so I created a "Test" ID, works fine for this...

Another issue I have is the application is not detecting the actual logged on status on my Clients..
Probably is I am not using the correct client, any recommendations on this??

Any idea what is wrong with this? Much help Appreciated..

well then I'm assuming that you must have set it up so that the server name is after a "_" at the end of a character name. I never cared about server name and a few years back I customized my list so it shows in the order of most used first, not alphabetically. I must have deleted the server name from each one. One of my main chars has a "_" in it's name and the last word in it's name is listed under the server. It's the only character that shows up.

Ah ok sorry about that bugaboo; yes its CHARNAME_SRVNAME,
next ver of M8(2.28) will will have a overflow bucket to catch the non-conformists into a category called ~OTHERS~
The newer systems like offline char INFO do require the your ldf file has the same name as your cif file(the real name and server as seen by the game).
My plan is to bend the login list to include the TagName(tag is created in the S menu) & character name, that should fix your sorting issues.

Looks like the same issue that bugaboo had for the login list.
As for the non detection make sure your on mem list 5212(if your on the English version)

woo! that really helps. I used to play on Leo, now I play on Liberty so that helps big time

But now there's no place for the "NEW_#" that I made to create liberty characters if I needed them, not even in the 1,2,3,4,5 slots that appeared can you add an un grouped section please?

Edit: it still snaps back to the "home corner" when you exit the config menu ands wont leave until you reload it.

Yeah, actually it's much a combination of everyone's issue.
1. co2m8 detects client as [NotLoggedIn] even though it's logged in
2. account import shows nothing despite co2m8 said import success
3. password insert not going thru as I've digits included
4. co2m8 freezes if i tick "auto login"

I've actually tried all those in list, 51xx - 5212, but nothing works.
All of these only happens when I use 2.27, currently reverted back to 2.26 as it seems to be more stable other than the password inject issue.
