on the downloads page for cabal8, the 1.02 download is the patch, and the 2.0 is the client.

k people, i found one of the problems.
you are supposed to install the client and update it from the chinese server, but you cant do that unless you are running through a proxy. i am using the proxycap/http tunnel method from the guides forum thats been used for EU and NA versions.
still need the patch though
