follow this.. its work for me..
1. go to your network connection in your vmware OS not in your host.
2.right click to your connection and go to setting
3. go to general: then in the box drag the scroll below at the end you will see "internet protocol(TCP\IP)
4.Double click it
5. Click the button obtain address Automatically and obtain DNS address automatically
6. hit Ok
hint: if does not work disable your network connection in your vmware before doing 1-6 steps and connect again.

just wanna ask if i can use windows 7 in VMware? cause i dont have windows xp installer.. i have one but its xp sp3, and grandchase doesnt work in xp sp3..

how can i connect to the internet if my ISP is smart bro? my host OS is Win7 and GuestOS(VMware) is winxp pro.. i have connected using the bridged connection, now the problem is, the guest is connected and the host is not.. any help please????

coz i opened GC on vmware (vista OS) and i got in and got to play

then i opened my GC normally outside the vmware (same OS Vista)

and it said hack has been detected??

so I just want confirmation if it works on vista

or am i doing something wrong

I cant click on gathering debugging info, it turned gray and i cant change none to full... what could i do?

and I also have a problem on launching gc

it says d3d9.dll was not found.

try to use the latest vmware,.... i also that encounter that kind of error before,.... when i update it ,.... it has an internet!!!!

power off first the guest OS,... then change the gather debugging information to full,....
