welcome to what every other server owner who wants to do it properly deals with. there are no short cuts...not if you want to learn how to do it properly. You want to learn then do as we did. Download 10+ clients, tear them all apart, find out what works what didnt, Ask premission before hand and release nothing of what you learn without the ok of the owner.

Then after finally running into a brick wall come to the forums, use the search button, word your search properly. Instead of exp try using experience. Sort though 20+ pages of garbage in hopes to find an answer. Dont find an answer then post your question. Your not the first person to get ticked off at the search function..you wont be the last. But all of us learned on our own via trial and error

last thing that i want to give a answer on (offtopic a bit)

deadpool and eurion is right

there is developing skills needed to even be able to change stuff
its hard to change/fix if you do not even know what cq_action is for (as example , exist out of 150k tables)

you can learn most stuff from this forum , but you need to develop your own skills
to give a example

do you think i made my server by just taking a release from here ?? , i got 8 differend releases
and now where the skills goes in and the best way to learn to develop ?
you mix databases and fix the stuff and the difference betwean them , thats how you can learn it easy (mix and see the effect and learn what is differend)

but that is only possible if there are multiple releases (and thats not in this case)

then for the releases , most persones are tired that they keep getting asked to release files and fixes that they can not fix
for example the file you can find here , its a npc fix
its a easy file that i made by just looking a bit around and where the error came from

if you read the requests before i released it , then you will figure out why i hate it to release stuff (to many persones asked for that release on the same topic)

i got kinda the same problem with my clients (vps)
they want me to do everything because they can not even read :s , they get atked and they put a firewall on and they put this button on ( do not allow exeptions) and then wondering why they got kicked (no offence to the users who got this ^^ just to give a example)

the problem i mean is that there are a lot of users that just download fixes and are
1) to lazy to do it on there own
2)not skilled enouf to do it on there own
3) dont know what to do and just want to get it online

anyway , lets get back ontopic now

the problem with CT is that you need to know to fix errors and to have the skills for it to know a bit more then the basic

there are a lot of bugs in it and there are a few main bugs in it (like the npc crash for example where there is a fix for )
so if you cant figure it out where the exact error is , then i can suggest to
1) spend a lot of time figuring it out (best option)
2)giving it up and waiting for a release of the working files ?? (if some1 is nice enouf to share there hard work)
3)just give it up and develop a other game

then a small note to the releases of the eo databases that you can find
not sure if any1 noticed it already (exept the experts :P)
those releases contains a lot of bugs , some bugs are putted in there just to prevent a same server , other server files are just to buggy to use
so if you take a good look then you know that nothing that is released here is released as a full release so you need to spend time on it to fix it

before my post goes to big

here is the small explanation of everything above
1)no1 like to release files anymore because abusing of the releases
2)you need to have skills to start a new game with no releases
3)most releases contains bugs on purpose to prevent exact same servers
4) this forum can be usefull to find a bit of help , but you still need skills
5) every1 hate double , triple , Quadruple posts over the same question (specialy the persones who fix the stuff)

What I was asked to upload a file of 17 Kbytes (WHO COULD and had to GOODWILL!), Which is the LevelExp.dat

I did not ask anything, ANYTHING, you know? It turns out that you have not read all the threads and ended up falling from what they said about me. I never asked them shit, no "release" yours DB. I asked for help, and if you want help do not help, nor put in the topic.

ok first off i am going to ignore your little rant on there. Secondly 100% of us may start out with the database released by the chinese i will give you that point. But out of all the server owners MAYBE 10% truely add thier own quests, casuals, pets, and everything thus effectly forking it off of the orginal release creating thier own. It may all be the same in the begining however the end results are never the same. (in most cases)

Have you noticed the server that just throw the garbage up online without bothering to fix the bugs, add stuff of thier own, or even do anything never last longer than maybe a month, if they are lucky. however servers like Acme (the longest and largest running EO private Server) has been around for quite a few years? Hell my servers were open for a number of years.

You say you want to learn, but your words and actions show us otherwise. You asked for help on the exp issue, we gave it to you. It was not good enough for you. You wanted us to give you the answer and hand you the file. This forum does not work like that. You ask a question, we answer, you go try to use our answers and figure it out, you hit brick wall, you search, you ask, we answer. Rinse lather and repeat.

The size of the file you wanted us to upload is not even a factor. It was the fact you wanted us to do it, rather than you working on the problem yourself after we gave you the answer. Now kindly quit throwing a temper tantrum, grow up, and stop thinking everyone is attacking you. You want our help yet you call us all stupid people. Great way to get help from others.

hey guys..i make this server all working file and adjust all port and coding the account server bla bla bla..but the problem is i cannot open inventory..anyone have same problem with me?:D

not so far i know (we are still fixing stuff)

but so far are you the second 1 that got a ct server running then , going be hard to get support for that :D

one more thing is..in the debug folder..i got error means it can create mannequin..so i think we need a paladin db
