Good Guide to an extent. But You have missed out alot... for instance

2.Compile the server with Visual Studio 2005 or with Visual C# (if you use Visual C# you need to replace XYThreadPool.dll by the one in XYThreadPool folder).

You don't tell us what file to open.

I just want to state that I'm rather happy, because the Visual C# 2005 Express Edition that I have now, it's working. (Edit: I can see the references tab, properties, etc) So thanks for the source code, the other code, etc..

I'll "+k"..

Thanks, Hybris, and the others.

Edit 2: The HTML link for postgresql sometimes requires password/username authorization, sometimes it doesn't. Pretty fucked up the USB port if you know what I mean.

Has anyone made a server with this?

When I try to start the project in Visual C# it gives this error:

I need some 1on1 assistance pls =/

I keep getting a msg EVERYTIME i try to install postgresql 8.2

Saying that there was no mapping between the username and ID or something...no matter what i change i always get this.

Click [+] on refrences on the right hand side, and delete the XYThreadPool one, then add XYThreadPool again ;)

Narr...not that xD

This happens as its trying to create my account...says account lockup failure or something...no mapping during account and security ID was done.

This is just annoying now...noone ever gives good enough guides anymore, they always expect me to know EXACTLY what im doing...does it make you feel smarter or somthing?

I mean, i made the folders...theres seems to be NO possible way to compile on visual c# because ive been thru it many times...even looked at the help manual and NOTHING.

Then i went and did all the other steps...server is running and connected, its impossible to get the client to stay unpatched, already tried it numerous times.

Then i just tried to add my server to the client and it dun work...so in between compiling and completely forcing the client from patching while still haveing it load up properly, ive messed up o.o

when you get the client to the version you want, close the autopatch and change version.dat to 9999

the autopatch will now never update, not ever >_>
