Q. Do Personal account receiving limits apply to all payment types?
A. No. Receiving limits only apply to the following payment types: eBay Items, Auction Non-eBay, and Goods Other (Website sales). All other payment types will not deduct from your available monthly limit.
Q. What is my withdrawal limit?
A. Some members can withdraw money prior to becoming verified. You can view your withdrawal limit from your Limits page. Once you become verified, your withdrawal limit is increased or lifted depending on your county of residence. To view the limits associated with your account, please follow these steps:
1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click the View Limits link next your balance information.
Q. How can I remove my Withdrawal Limit?
A. To remove the Withdrawal Limit, simply verify your identity.
1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click the View Limits link next to the Balance Information box.
3. Click the lift this limit link.
4. Complete the steps on the To Do list to lift the Withdrawal Limit.
Q. Can I withdraw funds from my PayPal account?
A. PayPal account holders can withdraw funds electronically to their local bank account if they have bank account in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, United Kingdom or United States. PayPal is continually working with banks around the world to enable withdrawals to local banks from a PayPal account.
Any member can withdraw funds to a U.S. bank account. U.S. bank accounts must be from a branch located in the United States, denominated in U.S. Dollars.
If you are a member in U.S., Argentina, Brazil, Chile, China, Ecuador, India, Jamaica, United States or Uruguay, you can withdraw funds from your PayPal account by a check sent by mail to your home address by mail.
Q. How do I withdraw funds from my PayPal account?
A. Follow these steps:
1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click the Withdraw subtab.
3. Click the Transfer funds to your bank account link.
4. Choose the bank account to which you would like to withdraw the funds to and enter the amount.
5. Click the Continue button.
6. Review the details of your transaction.
7. Click the Submit button.
8. The funds should appear in your bank account balance in 3-4 or 5-7 business days, depending on the country where you reside and your bank's policies.
Q. What is the withdrawal limit for new U.S. accounts?
A. New account holders are limited to withdrawing $500.00 USD per month from their PayPal account. The start of a month is marked when the PayPal account is opened (e.g. May 15 to June 15).
The Withdrawal Limit can be removed by authenticating your identity.
To authenticate your identity, you must complete two of the following three requirements:
* Add and Confirm a bank account
* Enter your Expanded Use Number
* Confirm your Social Security Number
Q. I upgraded my account but I want to go back to a personal account, how do I downgrade?
A. You must contact PayPal's customer service via their online form. Keep in mind that you can only downgrade once, and if you receive more than $500 a month after downgrading, you'll be automatically upgraded again.
