Still looked like u had alot of fun thinking about how much gold u had when the server freshly released. Blowa was quite right when he said that. You are flaming a Server, which isnt P2W at all. I mean i'm not friends with them nor do i like them alot, but you gotta point the obvious, they are making things right which u cant deny.

I playd the server for about 12 Hours right know.
But then, i got banned BADUMMTSS!!!!!!
I have to say, thank you for that, because it proves how good the Team Works.

While i was leveling a fresh Mage i used my Makro for about 2 Minuts.
And then i got to the Office, had a nice chat with one of the Olympus team and leaved with a time bann.

And this is the right way!

The people here wo say stupid things are so annoyng...
You cry about things.... uff.
I would beat my head to a wall if i was so petty.

And when you hate the Server, why are you so fearfull to be banned?
Because the Server and the Staff is crap right? xD

The best at the moment is the Achievement System.
I had so much fun to play and leveling with it, like it was 2007 when i first play Nostale.
Its good that you dont get everything too fast.

When you have all the items etc you want after playing one Week, would you play longer?

Hello everyone

It's review time ;) btw i have to say, i'm from the support team, maybe my opinion is biased, maybe not, i let you judge it by your own :D

First I have to say, i was waiting for something like NosWings/Olympus for years, and here we are.

NosWings was great at the beginning, but when you reached the level 90 it was very painful and ungrateful. Saying it was trash it's just a lie, the server had good point and bad point.

Now we're on the Olympus reign. (yeah that's a bit pretentious i know, but it's true :kappa: )
Olympus was made for correcting the bad experience from NosWings, and all the problem who comes along, like the game designer who wasn't listening at all to the playerbase (the worst point imo)

The server is very smooth, and fun to play, and saying it's P2W is bullshit, in 1hour, you can easily make 30kk, which is a lot in this server.
The grinding is not so hard, you can easily get your stuff without spending hours on farming (unless you're unlucky, but hey, it's RNG, as Levi would say : trust the process)

I can distinct 3 parts of leveling from now :

Level 1 to 83 : You have to make the all ACT1 (again yeah ...) without the painful things that made it a fucking hell.
There is no need of upgrading your stuff until the level 85, everything is given by leveling with reward box (full stuff 5+7)
All the SP from 1 to 4 are easy to have, without the time-space.
The bad point imo, is we don't have any real grind part on these level, but hey, the true game begin at the level 90 :)

Level 83 to 90 : You have to complete the quest line of the act 5.1 that is very painful, but it's very personal, bcs i fucking hate this act :lulw: but the quest are very rewarding and that's a very good point. It will take you approximately 6 to 8hours to finish it.

Level 90 to 99 : Well, it's the grinding part guys :kappa:
First, you have to make your stuff, and it's always great to achieve it by our own, from 90 to 95.
For the 90 one, if you don't want to craft it, you can easily buy it for 200k now r0+0 so it's very cheap. I advise you to not upgrade it too much /!\
The 92 is obtainable by doing raid, or you can also buy it for a few kk.
The 95 is obtainable by crafting it from the 92, you can rather keep your shell, or your upgrade, it's your choice.
The leveling is very enjoyable, and rewarding, you can rather do the 5.2 quest line, and you will get 93 very fast, or you can start grinding at Magmaros without being disturbed since the Mysterious rift are present.
When you reach the level 95, and you have all your equipment, i advise you to go directly to Katol, to get very fast 99. It's still very rewarding.


Let's talk about the daily activities!

Element raid :
I'm sure you know them very well from official :kappa:
Nothing to say in particular, it's always very rewarding, you can get Manes, or Claws which can be traded to PP for upgrading your specialist.
The others reward are very great too, you can get easily 10kk by doing those raid every day

Kertos Raid
Well, it's my favorite one for grinding :kappa:
This raid is very rewarding, and you can rush it with a good team (it will take you between 1 to 2min to achieve this one with an organized team)
In one hour, if you're lucky, you can easily make 50kk

Other raids
Well, the others ones are less rewarding imo, but you can did them to get the daily coin. You can exchange them for some item from the cashshop and that's great
You also can get Trophies which is very great imo, i really love this feature, it make the game more enjoyable and give you an aim to grind the old raid.

Achievement System
This is incredible, i love this system, you can get reward from playing, by just killing monster, try to upgrade your stuff, succeed a raid with certain condition, and a lot more things, it's a very great ++++ to the game


I'm sure i'm forgetting some incredible feature too like all the QoL that the team has bring to the game, the testing phase which is very important too, the designer team who try to give you the best Nostale game ever etc ...

If you miss Nostale, this server is surely the one you want to play

Day 723:
Its still the same about staff being unfriendly.

But for real yes the server has bugs. Report it and hope for a fix.

And just to clarify at the beginning. No I don't support the Olympus server I played like idk 2h on it and not more(tbh I will not play more on it) . The only staff member to which I had longer(and sometimes still have) contact was/is Pumba to all other members you can just check what I wrote on the Discord.

I dont like few things too about the server but c'mon how often you wanna repeat yourself and make it just ridiculous.

Make 1 Post with full arguments what you don't like and done even when it's longer but make real arguments and done if they wanna change then the things you critize be happy when not it's the choice of them.
For myself I thought multiple times too about make a EPVP post about what I don't like etc but when I see that people like you spam multiple times the same again and again c'mon then I would prefer to open a own thread for it when i wanna state my opinion atleast I can close it then directly.

I think the server is good and I would like a German language text IF the language was in German or that one could then change it would be good.

Here are our next plans, unchanged, but a bit slowed down (holidays & family moments due to the end of the year):
- Act6 (We are working on it, but bringing a balanced act6 takes time, again, it needs to be deeply tested to be balanced like our 5.2 is)
- AoT, IceBreaker (more PvP content, we know you guys want it!)
- Lot of QoL + Olympass ("VIP subscription" system with cool perks)

On the other hand, we will improve some parts of our web stack:
- Possibility to see your items in bazaar (only seeing, not being able to interact with it)
- UX improvements
- On website news (so you guys won't miss things being out of discord)
- Shop UX rework

That's not the only things that we work on, we also work a lot, on a daily basis on these things:
- Bug fixing
- Balancing existing content
- Improving our tooling
- Maintaining, improving & refactoring our different projects to avoid technical debt

My opinion to Olympus:
Pro:
- A LOT of custom and QOL features (e.g. mass crafting)
- A really cool Achievement system (hopefully they add more achievements in future)
- They did not start the server with the whole Nos content, they stop it at 5.2 for now so everyone can keep up with the "no lifers" which are grinding all day long
- No lags
- Almost no bugs
- No dupes I guess(?)
- Pity system for upgrading gear / sps

Con:
- Staff team. I think I don't have to mention it here again that they are pretty unprofessional at some points.
- It takes way TOO long for new content to be released. Players are bored and it feels like a NosWings 2.0
- Little bit p2w, even tho they never wanted to be like that
- Kinda bad class balance. Archer is stronger than other classes and only needs two Sps (WK & Scout) for being top tier class. This will be hopefully changed soon.

Neutral:
- Server economy. Could be better, but it's the server with the best economy right now I guess.

Conclusion:
As I was "scared" about the staff team from Wings I didn't want to support the new Olympus server. But after a few days I gave it a try. They really did a cool server and improved a lot.
But I quit it, because it got soooo boring. Logging in everyday to check the bazaar, go play something else, check bazaar again, go play something else. That's it.
If you want to keep the players you really need to speed up with the new content!!!

Releasing Laurena as only new content isn't enough. Players will run this raid for one week, grab their gems for the new SPs and that's it.
