OK, I got this very weird message in the middile of the screen that says something like this

[GM] you are using COtoboldr

I saw this and I immidiatly disconnected from the game. Has anyone else gotten this message from a GM?

Friday, 13th: My PSU exploded, seems the internal power surge protector and the other 2 external ones didn't help.
I don't know if any hardware was damaged/destructed, I can just hope my SATA raid0 drives still work properly. Don't have another SATA capable computer to test them.
On a forum one person had the same problem as me with exactly the same PSU, and all his hardware was destroyed.
Therefore the COtobo project is stopped for an uncertain amount of time, along with dozens of other projects.

king69_666:
There highly probably will be such a feauture when COtobo is stable.

Ambrocious:
COtobo itself is displaying this message, no real GM is involved. Maybe I should start it with "Welcome, ..." so people don't think it's a real GM :P

Yes, thats a normal message. i get it every time i log on with COtobo, it was programed into Cotobo, sorta like a message to remind u that ur using it and what it's called lol.

And to chocoman4k:
Damn man, i hope u get everything straightend out, my computer started smoking the other day, turned everything off and stripped it down and found no damage so only thing i can think of is my power supply frying, which is no biggy compared to some other components frying lol.

Suggestion:

Would it be possible to allow only 1 COtobo box running but you have like 6 or more clients on with it. I mean, if u run the program more then once, it adds the character you log on to a list and when you click that character on the list you will still have the same options but different settings that loads from a ini or cfg file. i get an error after loading 6 chars using COtobo but the most i can run is like 15 clients

Thanks ;) and great work

I was good running 2 normal CO's, 1 COPartner hunting, and 3 COtobo miners. I used taskbar hide to hide the cotobo windows, because I don't need them after I set up everything.

Can anyone answer my question once for godsake -.-'

Why is COtobo not working while I have WinXP with SP2...
01/14/2006 19:18 chocoman4k#120
V2usah6969:
That's possible but I will never implement such a function because it would need inter-process communication which is slow.

Lightning73:
Didn't I already answer that question 2-4 times? COtobo is not compatible with your WS2_32.dll, upload it and send me a link so I can add it.
