I did exactly like you...i used itemdata.txt...but with avatar it's diferent.Quote:
I've tried it. Can't be done with pservers. If you try to edit the avatar item as a cape or theif suit or anything you will get a "????" error(Graphic error). The Data dosent have the avatar items in it. I added it in, didn't work. Not sure why,even though d10 and d11 items worked fine for me.
I already did that :D. Not hard, just downloa dksro and get the bsr files and blah blah, itemdata.txt blah blah edit armors. DONE :D
You admitted to me on MSN that it was possible but you didnt want to do it becuase it would end up in crashing. Seems like you don't know either. As for me i was bored one day and opened the pk2's and learned on my own. The only help i got was from LyLee to get the Photoshop plugins.Quote:
Seriously,You dont know what you talking about!
to edit sets to avatars you need to change the .bsr files of the set to the .bsr files of the avatar in Data.pk2 , you don't need to touch anything in itemdata.txt!Quote:
FoulSoul, what i meant was, do you just change the cape bsr file to the avatar, or do you have to change a whole 6 peice set to the avatar makign each item the avatar bsr. Becuase it's obvious itemdata crashes when we edit it.
Wrong.Quote:

and 2 pieces of the set = 1 part of avatar.
for ex. HEAD and Hands = avatar hat
Legs and Chest = avatar body
feet and shoulders = attach avatar (wings or other thing).
not wrong , it doesn't matter which 2 parts you change to avatar part...Quote:
Wrong.
Head (ha) and Shoulders (sa) = avatar hat
Feet (fa) and Hands (aa) = avatar attach (wings or accessories)
And if u want to change avatar to set you have to extract the set files (ba, la, fa, sa, aa, ha) and the avatar .bsr! After that, just change the name of the set parts (those you extracted) to the name of the avatar part.
Exemple: Angel Wing dress to Garment Male 8dg chest --> avatar_m_angel_wing_dress.bsr change name to clothes_08_ba.bsr & clothes_08_la.bsr(u have to copy the avatar file because it will be edited 2 times).
After that import to the data.pk2 with path: item\china\man_item.
This was only for the chest, if u want the whole avatar u have to continue ofc.
If u want to edit in mysro or sjsro u have to extract avatar.bms, .ddj, etc from another data.pk2 with avatars.
Hehe, i said it was wrong because i learn with that method... ;DQuote:

you can even change head and chest to avatar body and when you will wear head+chest you will get avatar body...it doesnt matter.
I wrote this mini-guide to help one guy. Is a little bit confused but it's correct right? :PQuote:
Open Pk2 Extractor in Vsro Data.pk2. Then click "Search Mode" and search for the avatar you want. (ex: avatar_m_halloween). You will extract all the files of the avatar (like .bsr, .ddj, if have more extract them). Then close it and open your sjsro data.pk2 with pk2 editor and you have to do "import manual". Import those avatar files you extracted. The name and the path are the same ok? (it shows under "Manual Single Import File")
After that, you go to your sjsro data.pk2 and extract (ex: protector male 9dg) light_09_ba.bsr (and la, ha, sa, aa, fa)
BA = Chest
LA = Legs
HA = Head
SA = Shoulders
AA = Hands
FA = Boots
And now you will change the files (those you extracted - the set) BA and LA (light_09_XX.bsr) to avatar_m_halloween.bsr (this is the chest).
Change: SA and HA to avatar_m_halloween_hat.bsr (hat)
Change: AA and FA to avatar_m_halloween_attach.bsr (attach)
After that, open your pk2 editor and open SJSRO data.pk2 and import manually.
