Editing DDS Files (How-To)

windows texture viewer is nice because you can just scroll through them with the wheel on your mouse :P and you can also switch it to only show the alpha channel (has to do with what co shows in the game and what is discarded)

I made different colour 120 clubs, and a blue'ish 120 female trojan armor ^^ im going now. I'll get screenshots tommorrow and if i like ill post them up.

aftermath can you like give me a tutorial on how to edit dds file correctly when you have some free time maybe?

really username1? like you pick a folder and it shows all of the picture file (like you can view 20 at a time)

check out the attached pic :D if your mouse has a scroll wheel it will cycle through all the pics in the selected folder (up at the task bar it tells you where you are)

of course you can always double click the one you want to see and enlarge it

ok you win :P my mom uses infranview but it looks like the [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] on their homepage... so i thought you had to manually click through them :rolleyes:

acually when you download it, it give you two programs

the "screenshot" one and the thumbnail one
view 1 or........................ view many!

:P that allows you to open dds files in photoshop and from there you can edit them fairly easily (you cant draw completely new things though, you have to edit coloring and such on the one layer. if you make a new layer it screws up)

photoshop... and a plugin for .dds.... ^^

its on the 1st page ^^ and no thats not phoenix-skill...



btw, NEXT TIME use edit ;)
