I just wanna ask something about texture editing.
I find on google convert GTX File to DDS file and edit that with photoshop CS6 with DDs8 Plugin from Nvidia
But,when i open in PS CS6 it cant be opened,its said error.
someone have suggest to edit gtx file?

The gtx to dds converter probably wasn't for Rohan's proprietary gtx "format". Rohan's graphics are either dds or tga with an extra 3 byte header (47 45 4F). Remove these and change the file extension from gtx to tga for icons and interface graphics or dds for textures. They should now open fine.

I believe it is only the tga files that have the extra header that needs those bytes stripped. The dds ones do a 1-1 replacement of "GTX " literal with "DDS " to convert - no stripping needed.

The trick is trying to figure out if it a DDS or TGA file in GTX form. You can do that by looking at one or two bytes right up at the front of the file (forgot which ones - i think it is byte 4 if i'm not mistaken).

I believe I wrote the entire procedure down in one forum or another but I can't find the post anymore (I think it got deleted because it showed off too many of PlayWithi' s secrets :/ )

Actually im editing 2010 client to make it similar to 2008 one.
Any advice?

That's something I'd like to know as well :(

There's only 1 person I know of that will probably be able to decode the UI files.

yeah, just move it to a folder like for ex: "htdocs\[new dir]\RohanAuth\"

then you must change your batch file to "http:\\[your ip]\[new dir]"
