I just remembered I'm not using that conquer.exe anymore. Someone else handed me a different one with some extra features much needed for the extra CO Experience.

Well then Goodluck all I did was just gave me advise aswell as proof to hes background u can choose what you wish to do or not do. I just dont want what happen to trueclassic/project throwback where the player's were being used as a botnet and then not even knowing about it and having there pc infected.

Server/website is down? Anyone knows what's going on?

same i cant go on the website and my conquer wont start up either i dont know why

Hmm.. it was still working this morning......

damn i wonder what happened

it is the 30th the merge with the US and EU server is being done that is why it is down

are you sure? does the website have to be down in order for the merge to happen? lool

And besides does it have to take over 7 hours to do a merge anyway? I thought merging was easy, just reversing the merge wasn't.

Depends on the number of characters and length of server honestly.

I can't say for bins. But if its a c# source then its just a matter of copying the database info over, while maintaining unique ID's for items, guilds etc.
Items is the hardest one, especially if there are alot.

But then again a program could be created to do the merge for you rather than manually by hand.

But I get the feeling this is a bin in which case I don't know.

that is all i know at the time but you have to remember as there was people that played both US and EU servers that used the same account on both servers so there was 2 different characters for one account and they have to sort all that out

Okay, well I made sure that if there was ever a merge I would have my main accounts on different usernames. People should be smart enough to consider this.

Any information from a GM would be nice regarding this situation.

I just hope the the server will be up soon :/
