Really Oldschool Server like Ecsro VIP

I believe that GMs are not really needed in SRO servers, while events can be nice, and there must always be some sort of control ingame, a GM like the type most pservers use is just retarded by design. It's just asking for corruption, even if he/she doesn't have any makeitem rights, unless you got the right people that share the same idea as you, hiring a GM will always cause trouble

i think the reason is that no real oldschool players anymore everyone wanna pvp server , play 3 days and get full sox with premium + and devil + 8 i may be wrong .... idk
but its just advice for the person who gonna pay the root , u gonna lose ur money~time for nothing

And thats quite sad in my opinion :(. Even if there are enough ppl "out there" who are interested in playing on a oldschool server, its hard/impossible to reach them, to get their attention.

Thats true, events could be make like joymax done it where all ppl thought unique spawn bug. Just make it 4-5 times per month so unique kill would be something special like before ECSRO. If someone got hacked than you can check it in ur server log. Guys we played iSRO from 60 cap till 100 cap without any supporters and events on iSRO and now we wanna the old school feeling back. And everybody wanna just supporter and events on old school servers....

Like I said, and was going to post, iSro "has" GMs, fact of the matter is they are barely online/doing anything at all and it looks like isro ran just fine.
The only thing you need GMs for is bot banning, but then again I can do that myself.

Elite sro had zero GMs and this was right ..
and server ran well, forums GMs is so important but ingame, i think it shouldn't be any visible GMs at all.

Yea Elite SRO is the best example for it. That server had the most iSRO old school feeling from all !

elitesro was a GREAT server until the files got released, it had its feeling to it.
So no damn GM's ingame,im OK with supporters,who get NO abilities but get to help others out(im sure some people are that kind)

You all seem to forget that ESRO wasn't great because of the no GMs ingame, but because it had almost no competition and it was the first private server with working EU characters.
And GMs ingame are fine, as long as they stay neutral. That's only possible if you gather a team of people who share the same vision as you do, but, unfortunately, that's almost impossible.

ESRO was actually better without gm's since there would be no corruption to ruin the game

Yeah, it was, but that wasn't the reason it was so good.

GM's can be visible thats no fucking problem if u have the right GM's ...
i was a really good friend of Doener from ecsro vip he was gm assistant and that stuff but he never gave stuff out to any1 not even to me and i never begged for it cuz thats just gay ....

GM's ingame can be really good atm im on intense and there no pvp no job nothing cuz gms dont care so all left again there have to be GM'sbut like some people said before NEUTRAL and ONLY GM !!!! so no own player char to give themselves items etc
but as i see there is no server which is really good atm or im wrong? if so please send me the links so i can check them out im fucking tired of wasting 2 weeks to lvl farm pimp then server down -.-
