Wow.
I didn't get into the office today because I had a migraine. Now, I am trolling the forums before I go to bed and I see a flood of concern, trolling, some minor flaming, and some legitimate panic. Lesson learned: never stay home.
Let me fill everyone in a little.
1) LC is not closing and is not at risk of closing. This is still a very healthy game. It really is silly to see people worried that the game is on the brink of closing. I honestly don't think I will ever see the day where someone is debating whether to close LC.
2) What happens in LC Korea has nothing to do with Aeria's version. They can shut down and all that means is that you won't be able to find LC in Korean anymore.
3) I was told by Barunson that this development will actually allow them to focus more on our version and devote more resources to supporting us.
4) I don't negotiate or manage any contracts for Aeria, but I have daily conversations with the people who do. I once asked how long the current contract runs for and was told "a very long time." I have always been told to anticipate Aeria publishing LC into the indefinite future.
