Part 1: Trade Run with the GM

[Event Procedure]
1. GM will announce the start of the event in-game.
2. Merchants who want to participate should wear job suit, buy transportation and trade goods. Hunters and Thieves should also wear their job suits.
3. Merchants and Hunters should meet the Hunter GM at the town. Thieves should also meet the Thief GM in another town or area.
4. Hunter GM will rally the merchants and traders from starting point of the trade run and will lead to the end point of trade run. At the same time, Thief GM will lead the thieves to attack the caravan.
5. Trade run will be finished once merchants and hunters sell the goods and gain profit at the trade centers and/or if thieves rob and sell the goods at Stolen Goods Dealer at Bandit Den.

**Notice**
- Players that belong to any job class and of any job levels can join the event.
- No limit in the amount of trade volume. Participants may do 1- 5* trade.

I came across a strange bug or maybe it isnt one, I dont know.
I farmed my lowbie at penon fighters (lvl 54). My farmer is lvl 73, my lowbie 30+.
I recorded my SP (the exp, not full points) gain per mob, this is what it looks like 40+ for general mobs, gap9:

40->41->42->43->44->45->46
Normal: 68640->68380->68380->68120->39930->65260->53340
Party: 257920->223600->256880->255840->127270->245180->203840

There is a small drop at lvl 41 for the party mob, it could be that it was attacked by someone else. Whats really starnge is that on lvl 44 the SP (and exp, as i remember) gain is halfed.

Is there any valid reason for this, like party level or something?

same character, party mob:
lvl 41: SP exp 257400
lvl 44: SP exp 254540

normal sp gain. Might actually be a bug.

Silkroad has a strange mechanism when it comes to leveling. It mostly depends of your difference from the the mob you are attacking. By curiosity i will test this myself from level 1.

This server I really like.. I've been farming at lv.60's with a group.. also with lv. 40's at ongs
its fun :)

the quantity of xp/sp you get = the difference between the monsters lvl and the average level of the party.
