Something long but read it.
Now, to clarify something, Anonymous have programs that offers to his users to easily change the IP every 3 minutes cleaning all 'cookies', also, using freeware softwares like HMI or any other 'shitty' software to stay the anonymity over the internet changing and changing a changed IP, yeah something redundant but that's what they make to keep anonymous, now, a little example:
Let's imagine that arround 120 users have 3 freeware softwares to stay anonymous (Eg. HMI, HSShield, ProXPN, VR which are the most commons used) everyone activate all those programs to stay "Anonymous" which means that they will be hiding a hidden IP, Possibly 120 users will all at the same time charge lazers to attack the website, It'll go down and possibly arround 4-10 people might get caught with random IPs out of 120.
What's my point on this post? That website will go off if they plan it correctly, servers POSSIBLY go down if they attack it with more ppl, that NOT everyone will get caught.
Talking about Operations like OSony, OPayback or the current, OAntiSec, How many people you think that the Government of the United States have caught? Google it please.
I know it's a big difference between 6k users against 120, but technically It's the same thing, same method.
And don't talk to me about well-written firewalls, cuz Mastercard and we are talking a about a company against a private server, So everything is possible and yeah... possibly some people get caught but they can't get sue, cuz technically they are not breaking any law, they are just Denying the access to a website, they are not
stealing. Unless someone fucks up the operation and while the server is down and firewalls off they "hack" into the server and gets all the files, those people that PG caught, will get sued.
It's all about a well structured plan.
