Just wait till tomorrow/day after tomorrow to play, today/night servers are really being unstable, and there is only a limited amount of space for players. I guess they will upgrade server bandwith soon sometime

for that u have a skill to mount/unmount the pet u get it from a quest at lvl 8-10 or so ,just do that quest get a pet and look at skills
