U should try to end games by taking objectives when ur team is stronger than the enemy team. In that situation splitting doesnt make sense since u just gave the enemy team a chance to win a teamfight from behind 5v4. U want to 5v5 them as the stronger team next to an objective if possible. After killing a couple of enemies u take the objective. If u are the weaker team u can splitpush and try to draw out the fighting and making them chase u etc so the game lasts longer and their lead goes away. Or hope they split up and u can outnumber them for a good teamfight to come back. U can "force" fights as the stronger team by going to the objectives. They either defend it and fight u or they let u get it which just makes u even stronger. If ur team still never groups even with u pinging the objectives and being stronger then just wait for mistakes of the enemy team and take objectives after. Dont start solo pushing that often doesnt work.
how to improve the Macro play, and how to learn more about it
1. Watch proplay or high elo replays of people playing ur role to see when they take objectives and how often they do that etc.
2. Watch ur own replays and after every fight and kill pause the game and think to urself whats the highest u can take right now. If u can take an objective always go and do it (it should be the most worth objective possible atm)
3. U can find alot of youtube videos on macro gameplay that u can watch between games or after losses or if u dont feel like playing atm.
4. Actively make calls ingame to see if they work out and if they didnt try to find out if the call was wrong (u didnt have an advantage) or if ur team just didnt perform well and died 4v3 etc. Rly spam ping ur team for the objectives. If u never say or ping anything then the chance of them coming is much lower.
