yh i'd be verry hesitant in choosing my GMs as well if i were in his shoes. but that doesn't change the fact that we need some.

People don't realize the redundancy in choosing GM's from ELITEPVPERS. Aka a website DEDICATED to cheating.

Honestly it's beyond me why people expect honest GM's out of the general population found here.

i can't say your wrong but your not completely right either. this is a website for that sort of things but it is also a website for private servers. its simply a website to screw with the main publishers of the game.

and also it suprises me that this community hasn't learned yet that its because of them that the original game is screwed. you'd hope that they realized this and wouldn't make the same mistake when such a huge opertunity like this comes along. clearly i was wrong with that and the little kids just want the same thing, hack their way up to then never see their character again after closure.

You're right, the website is made for private servers as well. Where developers SHARE what they've made and work together to get things to work. I've owned a Dekaron server that was first in the Top 100 for over a year. The archlord server owners don't share any of their findings. They don't even use test servers. Add in a ridiculous player base that loves to cheat like Archlord and VOILA; retail game goes to shit and private servers fail faster than they surface.

Just contrasting my experience with the mistakes other private servers have made.

That's probably the only reason I've never applied to being staff on an Archlord Private server. Although this owner seems to kind of know his shit. I wouldn't mind working with someone that's competent.

i can say i am "sort off" working with him right now and i can say that it is true that he seems to be knowing wat he is doing. but one guy can only do so much...

but wat u say about sharing the work then on that part i understand why he does not simply release the server files, since it would mean losing playerbase because he will simply lose it to a more popular member of this community.

but then again as u say u need to get the community more involved, and that i told him straight out on severall ocasions, but the thing is justarch really lacks in the communication department. i tried helping him out more with this, but i don't wanna say anything here without him officialy saying i'm some sort off staff, because if i say something and it ain't true people will simply think i'm speculating things. even though i made it so that combi and lens+ are in the game. i did however suggested to him to move lens to merchant and let lens+ replace lens in the chantra shop, but it seems that din't make it through (on this i can only tell u guys to post more that u want this to happen).

so to make it simple, your right on allot of things but at the moment there isn't much we can do about it.

i have read that thread and find it a really usefull one. i will send a link off this to justarch and let him read it. hopefully he can get some parts of this and put it too use on his server.

You guys are basically repeating the same thing over and over, how about letting the poor man rest for a while? Last time I checked he's still a human... so don't expect any perfection.

do u even read wat we are saying? we are saying he needs some help because of the fact we know he is only human. running a whole server with over 300 players on it on a daily base is not something 1 person can do.
