Guys, please, if you just want to spam hello there are several (other) threads where you can do that. Keep up the last little bit of niveau in here.

What are your thoughts on the American spy projects such as PRISM? And what do you think about Snowden?

As I read, the French Republic received no requests from him but ..

Jean-Luc Mélanchon (the leader of a socialist party in France) said:
" Je demande que la France accorde l'asile politique à M. Snowden, bienfaiteur de l'Europe qui a permis de démasquer ce complot "

In english maybe .. :rolleyes:
" I request that France grant political asylum to Mr. Snowden, benefactor of Europe which helped uncover this plot "

I assume that wouldn't change anything. As you can see, the Americans are free to do whatever they want. An insider released information about the Americans spying everyone, and most likely he's aware of even more secret projects, which are considered illegal.
And what's the reaction of the EU? Nothing, besides the fact that they "would like an answer". Hilarious. It's just like they did nothing special at all.

They will somehow say that it was for your own protection, even though we never approved for sth like that. Also, who knows what else they are still hiding from us...

Yes, I couldn't have said it better. I believe that there are greater "morality" risks nowadays, perhaps safety risks too, than there were before. And human kind is supposed to be evolving and learning from it's mistakes... :facepalm:
