Sad it's dead here... :(

Since the End of July no new updates from the community and developers.

But thanks to all that have created so much nice stuff for the offline-version. :)

I think that pretty much all the goodies that could be added in the offline server has been exhausted by the community, which is why it is so quite lately.

There are a few things here and there needing fixed, such as what GlideImage posted recently and perhaps someone may Categorize the huge Vinyl share from Keule306...

I know I had a lot of fun with the things I did and shared back.
I was hoping this thread would become active and ppl would share their tuned up cars as he has done...

I seem to recall some instructions to make the UDP trick (sp for tracks with no sp) work in the latest offline release (1.7). Can't find them though. Help?

example:
374.xml is one of the meeting places (OverLook)
You open that file and the part <EventId>374</EventId> you change that ID to an event that has no single player mode that you wish to launch then save and upon launching said meeting place, it reverts to the race event with a single player mode.
Works both with TE and drags that have no single player mode.

I am currently going through buying one car at a time and then selecting it in the garage since I noticed this happen to Cross's car after I bought it then went in the garage and selected it. notice the overall number changes...also does the negative OA when adding parts



So some of the overall numbers change from when you buy to when you select it in your garage...Will take some time to purchase one at a time to find any of them that change these overalls. Not sure what you would have to do to retain the overalls from purchase to garage...

You have to pretty much guess, to fix the HAT issues.
First, buy the car in question, look at the CMD window and take notice of its basket file.
If there are several Editions of that model, do the same thing as above.

Check the basket files physics hash tag, if they are different, change them, rebuy the car in question and try it's HAT.
If that does not fix it, try the physics Hash number located in the "Mod folder" for that model.

So far, both of my methods work, and as I said, is guess work to fix them.
You also have to reload the game after changing the PhysicsHash number, for it to actually take affect, and only fixes buying the car again and does not fix the car already bought as that car is invalid.
Wait, you only have to reload the game if you change the catalog files, I believe you can change the basket files to suit, and not have to reload the game, but only rebuy said car again to see the change, my bad.

If not, take notice of the models in question, PM me their ingame names and basket file numbers and I will do my best to fix them as explained in my only method of guess work which fixes them, so far.

Ok I took down your info I will see what I can do. I thought it happened on another car awhile back but never took notice so I will buy one car at a time and check if they change at all, if so I will check their info and try the changes if possible. Thanks. I will post back after I had some time to go through a majority of them and if any fixes I will post that as well. :handsdown:

My INTERNET is running extremely slow today, I have had to restart it 3 times to get in this page. I will try to get back when I can after I had a chance to go through some of the dealer. Thanks again.


EDIT::Now I understand why the OA changed for Cross's car, here is what it is in freeroam. Correction:: It seems to change to what ever car was shown previously as your start car so that one is so far the only of the Chevy's doing the strange OA change ...what the heck! lol


anyway, I am going to try the car dealer without all the extra variants and see if it is the same! Will take some time to go through every car, there are 497 variants in my dealer :-) EDITED: Yes still the smae with the strip down dealer also! That is a strange one. Just that one of the Chevy cars.

I will make a tool for launching multiplayer/sp events (basically any event),
is not handy to edit every time an xml when we want mp/unknown events.
Thanks to @gamermca for the sorted "alltracks v2" and to @hypercycle
for the "list of tracks", this will help me a lot ..

I know it does not have a tool like you say, but you will need that guide. What point does it have to make such a tool if player can only distinguish by event id?
