The issue with windows defender is. Sometimes it says it is a trojan and then sometimes not, when it is the same file.Quote:
Been using this from here for ages. I never had a virus warning and only use default Win 11 including Defender. I use WinRAR to extract. Some say they use 7 zip so perhaps that's the problem.
Someone claimed that the "locked" rar changed when it was detected. When a locked rar cannot happen but a zip file can.
Also people use the same windows defender and have the same definitions. But then some say they have issues and some not.
But all the dodgy things people download from not trusted sources they say nothing. But when it is an addon that is 2 things, images and lua script that is.it. Then they want to say something. Also I would like to point out that before they never said a thing. They took the addon for years and now because their Defender alerts a false result, now they say something.
But if I uploaded .zip it would never trigger it. But then you can add to a .zip and no one knows a thing. But you cannot add to a locked .rar.
Also they need to delete the saved variables, or it will read the settings as to be 1-20.Quote:
1-20 is the free version from curseforge delete it from the wow folder or from the curse app as you might have auto-updated on and even when you put the full version curse auto-updates it back
Sadly they did not reply, so I do not know what the outcome is.
