As a former private server owner it relatively doesn't make sense for him to shut down the server after making bank.
He should gradually make it harder to level in between 100-120. Archlord players do not PAY to play. They PAY to be the best. As long as there's competition there will be money. As long as they have INCENTIVE to pay for RETAIL things at a cheaper price than WZ, this private server will continue to thrive.
Personally I'd like to thank whoever made it for succeeding where Webzen didn't.

Server owner should look into writing a script that restarts the server automatically whenever it crashes unexpectedly.
