Now, Mr Prog4mer's multi-client saved myass many a time earlier versions...like 6 months ago early :P.
He explained it well enough but --> you download from the filehost. You extract/copy the conquer.exe into ur CO folder. You run it. DONE!

it dont work anymore.
i dont know of any of the multi clients do.. none ive tried work anymore. i think tq might have fixed them. i cant even make my own anymore, the text strings have changed when you edit it with hex editor you cant find the strings to change anymore.

There's no reason why multi shouldn't work anymore. The new patch didn't contain a new conquer.exe or other "core" files of the program. So your edited .exe file should still be there.Quote:

Maybe your client tried to autopatch when you tried to open the second (or more) one. It said something like "already one client open, can't autopatch" for me. In that case, close all your clients, let it autopatch, get a new itemtype.dat (or make it yourself) (there's a new one in that patch, containing this year's Halloween thingies) and have fun :D

My itemtype is messed up after autopatching, I cant see qualities now and it doesn't even show it on my own items not just on the ground.
