where is the latest version of hon lan games?

I assume that on your PC it works fine. It sounds like you may have missed some files.
Try follow hese procedures.
Here are brief procedures for your information.
- Download the two rar files
- Unpack the file and you will see one BIG rar file
- Unpack this BIG rar file again and you will have a folder within the game folder
- Just copy/move the game folder, the one that contains "game" and "base" folder with the HON.EXE, into your favorite game drive.
- Create a shortcut pointing to HON.EXE in the game folder
- If you have problem, just delete the "Hero of Newerth" folder in your "My Document" and restart the game. It will recreates this folder again as soon as you create the LAN game.
- This is a FULL release so you CAN NOT apply this over the existing HON LAN. All the game resources are now compressed. My suggestion is to DELETE the entire OLD HON game folder and perform the above procedures.

Also apply all the patches.

Please make sure that ALL PCs in the LAN have the SAME version. It will not work if it detects a differing version of the game.
I have installed it to many PCs in the LAN and have had no issue.

Go to the download page you will find the latest HON LAN by Sordi and hopefully you will not be lonely any more. You can also play against friends or anyone via Hamachi using the same version of the game.

hi,anyone can teach me here?i download all the file,and paste the 3.2kb file into the game folder,i start the client,but i cant see the create account thing,its just black there,how to register and play this game?anyone mind to teach?thanks

i dont think you need to creat an account just go to local game and then configure the settings to creat a game then your friends can join via LAN just press refresh to see the game you have created.

This is a LAN version. It is NOT an online version.
DO NOT create account.
Create a LAN game using the "LOCAL GAME".

i download the game and i got an error saying the setting is incorrect and that reinstalling the game might help....

really want to play this game cos i used to play DoTaA.
can anyone help??

Try to delete the Heroes of Newerth-Folder in "My Documents"

We are working on the Heroes but not all heroes are easy to fix. Sand Wraith is for example very hard due to his ultimate.

Corrupted Disciple is nearly done. Vindicator about half. Just wait and relax. New Heroes will patched when they are rdy.

just finished downloading the files from rapidshare

extracted it = finished

then after applying the patch

i started the game but it says reinstalling the game might help

what should i do? i really want to play it on LAN

i even change the directory from d:\Heroes of Newerth by Sordi to C:\ etc

but still with the same problem..
