[Guide]Conquer_v2

This source ain't working,I don't even know what to run to start it,I'm confused,should I start "ConquerServer_v2_Auth" [ ConquerServer_v2_Auth\bin\Debug\ConquerServer_v2_A uth.exe ] cause it says server maintenance when I try to login,and btw,where to change the IP on server,there is no Config.ini or Settings.ini folder.
If you know help me.

... after upgrading to 5366+ source (and following my earlier post how to make previous version compile - works also with this source), and downloading newest 5337 client version (original) problem with logging in is fixed - now moving to next problem - cant create character :/ ... game just displays ... "No," at char creation :P

server is working, thats c# source ull need to compile (using visual studio .net 2008), check my previous posts how exactly i did it (compiled and running with clean winxp sp3 x86, and clean vs 2008 ultimate edition install).

so far i got to char creation (cant create, hope this is last problem ill be dealing with to start playing). Ill repost complete working installation procedure once i get server up and clients can create accs/chars.

In this source u dont need to alter server IP, u just need conquer loader where u update ur IP (page 1 of this topic for downloads and exact instruction on loader, my prev post also, and if u choose to upgrade to 5366+, again server ports are different - 9960 and 5817)... hope ill get it fixed soon :P

Umm,now it says "Failed to login :Invalid Account ID or Password. Error Type: 1."
So,where to create an account,cause ID: ADMIN and PASS: password doesn't work :/

Yeah, this source has some altered passes - pass for ADMIN has been changed to 123456 i think... i did copied all database\accounts folders from previous server version cause editing pass doesnt work (also creating new file with user.ini doesnt seem to work). copy server\database\accounts from older source to :
infinitco source\ConquerServer_v2_Auth\Database\Accounts\
ive also (following my prev working compiled version) copied it to (dunno if needed)
infinitco source\ConquerServer_v2\Database\Accounts\

login should work... and if u want to choose other login - adding new .ini file doesnt work, tho u can change test.ini for example to login.ini (and edit inside ofc)... that works - strange, but true xD

Yo,i'm gettin' blowfish error when I login,for fucking sakes its pissing me off,what should I do,give me the right vs 2008 download link please,cause I have C# 2010.

try adding (to the source) properties (to both server and auth) path to blowfish file... for original (not updated) with visual 2008 (should work in 2010 too as its not compiler error, just missing file error)

From menu (before u compile project with f5)

Project > conquerserver_v2 properties, choose tab reference paths ... and add path to folder which contains blowfish - it is in ..
Server\ConquerServer_v2\bin\Debug\
also u may encounter other errors later - check previous pages for complete list what i did (page 9 i think)... so far i made it to char creation

I'm getting the same error,I think we need to use VS 2008.

now i can see... well, i had similiar problem but never at login - make sure u always compile with visual studio (dont use .exe to run servers), it may be missing gamekeyexchange.dll (copy it to windows\system32 folder)... you can find it in...Server\ConquerServer_v2\bin\Debug\
also if u encounter a problem you should be able to run debug with visual studio (there should be more info on error, guess thats how i found out gamekeyexchange.dll missing bug), also now im working with 5366+ updated source and newest original 5337 client (hmm :P thats y maybe i cant create character)... well back to work...

if som1 needs prove its working so far ... :P
use the newest original 5337 client...

You can login with ADMIN / password ... up to creating character, but when u hit create button it'll only say "No," ... ehh, no clue (if u choose less than 4 letters for name, it gives clue that it name must be 4-x chars)... well, if not with creator ill try to make character by editing files...

It can be also as client test - works for me
